The hotel's staff in all sections are extremely friendly and helpful The grounds are lovely and well kept. The rooms are well laid out and large The beach is very nice, the sunbeds and shades are not packed tightly together. Compare with the beaches of neighbouring hotels !!. Even if you get up late there are sunbeds available, you simply... More

This hotel is vast. The gardens are well kept and you constantly see the gardeners preening cleaning and watering the beautiful plants and flowers. The pools are gorgeous. All the staff our lovely. The rooms where spacious beds comfy and cleaned every single day. Shows every night in the arena singers every night in the bars. If you didn't want... More

Hotel was ok, staff very helpful. Food was ok but not always very hot. Beach was beautiful and was lovely swimming amongst the colourful fish. Restaurant staff couldn`t be more helpful. Shops on site are very pushy and pretty expensive, cheaper to buy gifts at the airport. Weather was lovely, had one really windy day but was still very warm.

...the talent is still there, but the looks have faded. After a gap of four years, we returned to 'The Fort' and quickly felt at home in its motherly embrace.......yes it is looking a bit tired, in the West Wing especially around the pool - various botch jobs in repairing cracks in the pavement, and the majority of the tables... Why? Sandy walk into sea. Colourful fish at knee/hip level, depending on tide. Several areas do not need beach shoes. Snorkeling equipment available hire or buy. I always take my own including fins. I’ve seen more varieties in half an hour than many other locations around the world, especially this close to the shore. Dive Centre on site. It was... More

Although i had read reviews on trip advisor saying the resort is quite dated, i wanted somewhere that i could snorkel directly off the beach. The location is wonderful. We were only waist deep and could snorkel around coral. The water was quite cold, so I couldn't manage to stay in for very long unfortunately. There was loads of space... More

We have just returned from our 6th stay at the Fort Arabesque, our favourite spot on the red sea, our home from home. Great Holiday as usual. Fantastic sandy beach with great snorkelling. More than enough loungers and parasols for everyone, really well spaced out, always able to find a spot. Food is very good and varied and the staff... More

We have recently returned from a 17 night break at this lovely resort. We first discovered this gem around 20 years ago when we came on a 2 night break from Luxor so I could do some diving and then it was very much the new kid on the block with very little either side in the bay. It is... More

Second visit to the The Fort and tbh nothing has changed in six months, just like your old granny, just six months older and slightly more worn out ! Things started badly though, last year we had a lovely room 468 i think, top floor west wing, so this year we paid upfront for a sea view superior and emailed... More

I've booked this hotel via Tez Tour due to good reviews from TripAdvisor, but for us it was a nightmare. Even if I had reserved the Superior Suite long time before our trip started and the room was confirmed by the agency, but also reconfirmed directly by email by their reservation officer M. Beshara (an email which included even the... More
