We have chosen SWISS INN Magawish for one reason - the Colona Watersport kitesurfing centre and the beach + shallow water perfect for beginner/intermediate kiteboarders. We spent in Magawish 10 days in the first half of May 2009. The biggest advantage of Magawich is the location of kite and windsurf centers on the hotel’s beach. we just came back from magawish , hurghada. we stayed 4 nights and found it very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay in. my wife wanted to stay more but we had to come back cause we couldn't change our confirmed flight. in general, we were very pleased by the friendly staff every where and especially at manta restuarant.... more

My husband and I just got back from Magawish Resort and feel more refreshed than any of our times to Sharm El Sheikh. You get a good feeling about the place as soon as you walk into their spacious, comfortable lobby. The only real thing I personally really disliked at Magawish is noise (probably from planes staying and waiting take-off at the airport). 5km - too close. It was listed as close to town. It wasn't. It was close to the airport, but we didn't come in from there. Once at the resort, we had to go through about three different guard stations to get to reception. Reception was not very receptive. Snubbed is the word that comes to mind.
