A nice hotel with a lovely beach and garden! I really lied the food they served ( but one can be a bit bored after 2 weeks). Hotel staff is really friendly! The beach is nice with possibilities of snorkling but if the water is too cold for you, take a walk to the heated pool at the neighbouring hotel.... more

I just got back from a stay in the Shedwan Golden Beach hotel resort in Hurghada and it was so much better than I expected. The rooms were very clean although the bathrooms were a little tired looking. The buffet food was varied and artistically displayed! I'm a vegetarian and didn't have any problems finding something to eat every night.... more

After reading the reviews, better than expected. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and presentable.Everything worked including the air conditioning! We had booked a package with flight and a week hb at the Shedwan Golden Beach with a superior room. The overall experience was positive. Arrival and checking in. We arrived sometime around 1am. well just back from shedwan golden beach,accom was on hb ,breakfast and dinners were repeated every 3/4 days same choice of menu ,food was above average quality and you would have needed too be a very fussy eater not to get something .food out side also very good. hotel mainly catered for large scandinavian,russian and german tourists,rooms were shabby chic... more

Poorly maintained, old facilities. Unfriendly staff. Terrible food. Dirty rooms. No hot water in the showers - lukewarm at best. The beach is its only selling point, but the Zahabia's beach, down the street, is also nice AND it has good snorkeling. Skip the Shedwan Golden Beach! more
