I stayed 4 nights in the Sol Y Mar Ivory Suites after it came recommended by friends. My travels weren't your usual holiday makers, so therefore location wasn't of great importance and as I've been to Hurghada before I knew what to expect. I simply needed something with walking distance to the promenade and that was all.

The hotel which opened in September 2008, is spotless as you can imagine from a new hotel. The rooms are fantastic, each with a flat screen TV, tables & chairs, sofa's and the room I had even came with it's own kitchen (kettle, fridge, plates etc). The room was, like the rest of the hotel, spotless and the twin AirCon units meant it was always a nicely chilled zone.

The hotel staff are some of the most helpful I have ever come across and I've been to Egypt a number of times. Anything you want help with, they will go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant.
