I stayed two nights and found the hotel comfortable, clean and well staffed. It is located near restaurants and has a good breakfast buffet option at the hotel. Their are multiple areas to lounge beside the pool, the lagoon, or the balcony.

Very nice and friendly staff - perfect service in this cosy hotel, the food is very good and are different every day. Dawar is placed central down town El Gouna close to everything - anyway we will be back for sure.

Dawar el Omda is my favourite hotel for long weekends in Egypt. I visted the hotel few times and found the hotel staff very welcoming. We needed somewhere to flop down, feel some heat and try and unwind from London life and we got it here at the Dawar El Omda. Khalid the receptionist who checked us in was warm, polite and efficient , explaining everything to us in perfect English, he is a real gem as quite often receptionists in bigger hotels do not... Lovely hotel. Friendly attentive staff. Reception staff were excellent. Room was clean and quiet. Food was plentiful. Nightly fumigation of the hotel vegetation with insecticide was a little disturbing!
