very disappointed with this hotel, described on tv as luxurious. well my idea of luxury and their idea of luxury are two diferrent things! the food was in the main part diabolical. ive never seen breakfast plates so small.the dine around restaurants are run by the hotel so why should you have to pay when you are already on a... more

I felt I had to write a review in defence of some of the ones that have been written. I had a fabulous holiday, met loads of lovely people and would definately go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ocean View to anyone who wants to spend aroung £500 for one week all inclusive, it amazes me sometimes what... more

Rooms were not special but clean and tidy and adequate (but who spends time in their room when on holiday). The food was the best I have had while on holiday in Egypt (my 5th visit). In my opinion rate the food very good and well displayed. Staff were friendly courteous and helpful. The hotel seemed to have a mostly... more

We were a family group of 6 adults who stayed for 2 weeks. Before departure we had e-mailed room requests in advance as we wanted rooms close together with balconies. we were given rooms 2359 & 2382 which were joined together by connecting doors and shared a balcony overlooking the marina. The other room was 2358 just across the corridor,... more

Hotel accomodation was nice enough - needs a degree of upgrading i.e. rooms looking shabby, old beach towels and basic canteen style restaurant (basically expect more from a hotel that markets itself as a 4*) and the location was brilliant HOWEVER the biggest let down was the food (disgusting), drinks (warm) and pool area (far too crowded, not enough sunbeds... more

The hotel was not clean, the food very basic and having breakfast was like eating in a work canteen, all of us plus just about everyone we spoke to had the tummy problem some worse than others, the only place doing a roaring trade was the local pharmacy, staff in the bar and restaraunt were great, reception staff not so... more

Having been to Egypt before and staying in Sharm el sheik we decided to give El Gouna a try on a reccomendation of a friend. El gouna itself is a very nice and well built area with a very good selection... more

Me and my boyfriend went for a relaxing holiday and relaxing is exactly what we got. I am 21 and he is 25 so even if we did want a few drinks on an evening the Peanuts bar was enough or on the Friday they had a party at the Duport pool. If we really wanted clubbing there are a... more
