I stayed at the Sultan Bay hotel for a one week. Enviroment was very peaceful and nice at those days. I recommend El Gouna if you are looking for peaceful child-friendly holiday. El Gouna is also good place if you want to relax without noise and young partypeople. Zeytona beach is also free for Sultan Bay customers and it is... more

We have previously stayed at the Sheriton in El Gouna and loved the decadent luxury but disliked the stuffy formallity and the prices. Sultan Bey is perfect - it combined value for money, (at least we could afford to use the mini bar) friendly efficient service and perfect location right in the heart of Downtown next to the totally 'chill... more

I travelled alone knew nothing of El Gouna, or the hotel. I was greatly impressed by both. All rooms have balconies I had one over looking the lagoon the sunrise was breathtaking to watch coming up of the distant hills. My room was well kept and though the bed and pillows were hard the sheets were out of this world... more

Spent 9 days here, lovely room, staff friendly and helpful, food good. The hotel is relatively small and built in the 'moorish style', ie not a highrise block. Swimming pool quite small but beach within easy reach on the shuttle boat. Travelling on my own and at no time felt lonely or insecure. The guests were mostly European with some... more

I was so impressed with this hotel. The staff was so friendly and the service was impeccable. We got 5-star service at a reasonable price. We felt incredibly welcome. The grounds are gorgeous and the food was excellent. Perfect for those who like to stay away from the mega-resorts that are so popular now. The Sultan Bey has a boutique... more

We stayed at the Sultan Bey for 7 days and nights in early September. For the most part we had a decent experience. You really do get what you pay for with these resorts. When we arrived we were greated by many people. Everyone was pretty helpful. We got in on a Sunday morning. That evening was a special dinner... more

Our family just got back from El Gouna where we stayed at the Sultan Bey Swiss Inn Hotel. I would say it lives up to the name of an "inn" rather than a "hotel". I'll give you my reasons. Don't get me wrong: we really enjoyed our stay, but there were a few complaints. Let me first give the negatives,... more
