I spent a 4 days - 3 nights holiday with my friend at Penguin village in Dahab. First impression was rather good. The manager Ahmed is a funny, smiling guy, welcoming and relaxed. The location is fine, just along the beach, the building has a certain charm, and has recently been repainted. Therefore I closed an eye (or both) on... More

Booked 6 months earlier, when the price was 15US dollars, when we arrived we were shown into a downstairs, back room, which was totally unacceptable...awful smell...and looking very dusty..did not even look at the bathroom...so we were shown upstairs with sea view....The room was fine...the balcony very big...comfortable bed... and the cost was 27US without breakfast...but the bathrooms let them... we were a group of 8 that stayed there, the double room with a sea view was the best, clean bathroom, perfect sea view terrace, a mini-bar. the triple room w/sea view was very old and clumsy, the double room with no view was average. All rooms had hot water, free wi-fi. the reception guys were very helpful, they organised... More

The hotel is strategically located in Dahab and has a pleasant youthful atmosphere and nice staff. The rooms are just OK but you cannot expect more in this category. We found couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and the air-condition was not adequate for heating in the chilly winter night but overall we had a great time.

Stayed 2 night with the family on the way from Jordan to Sharm. Good base to visit St. Catherine - owner offers trips there for reasonable price. People are extremely friendly here. Double-deck restaurant at the sea with pillows and low tables is the best chill-out place I ever saw in my journeys. Though you can find the cheaper meal... More

I stayed here for a week in one of the dorm rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to sort out any activity you want to do in Dahab/Sinai. And were very knowledgable about the area and other information you might want. Their diving centre was really good too, the staff who worked at it were top professionals... More

Good hotel, in front of the beach with very friendly staff. Thanks to Tito our stay was even better. The rooms have good air condicioneir, they can book everything in the city for you. The restaurant is a little bit overpriced, but you have very close options. Thanks, guys!
