I stayed here so long, I loved every minute of my stay. They treat you like a valued guest and have lots of local knowledge. Great deals in trips around the area too. It's a really nice area close to the sea and restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay at Bishbishi, but it wasn't all good. There were both positives and negatives. However, for myself, the positives outweighed the negatives (hence the "very good" rating). This place is not on the sea (like most of the hotels in Dahab), but it is only one block away. The location is fairly central, just south of the... More

Nice quiet place, with a relaxed atmosphere but with a lot of things to do like diving, snorkeling and hiking at a short distance. The people that worked there were incredibly friendly and helpful in anything I needed. They would really adapt to what I wanted, which was finding nice quiet beaches and quiet places in the mountains. They seemed to... More

I went to Egypt in September alone. My first stop was Cairo, the owner of the hostel I stayed there recommended me Bishibishi when he knew my next stop was Dahab. So staying in such a nice place was totally a coincidence and I really enjoyed it! Reasonable price, walkable distance to the beach, nice breakfast... there are countless reasons... More

Having travelled a lot, I've stayed in some pretty questionable places along the way. At first glances Bishbishi looks fine. Look a little further and it's just not worth it. I stayed here a while ago and the corners that the owner cut ended up with myself, my girlfriend at the time and 3 children in the room next door... More

In buddhist scripture there are three types of treasure ... Treasures of the heart (courtesy, kindness, compassion, love etc), treasures of the body (health, good looks etc) and treasures of the storehouse (materialistic stuff - nice house, car, latest computer etc). Of all the treasures ... The heart is no doubt the most important and that's why my son Zed... More

This is a very over due review. My boyfriend and I traveled to Dahab in July. I highly recommend Bishbishi Hotel. The staff welcomed us with open arms as if we were family. They provide a very positive and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were big, and kept very clean. A/C worked great and was not loud. Bed were very comfortable.... More

Good points - it's fairly central Bad points - food isn't great - staff were a bit pushy when it came to trips away - rooms were a very dingy and run down - its not expensive - but you really can get much better for just a little more or similar
