I went to Dahab for 4 days and I stayed 10 days. I felt so comfortable at Marine Garden, my room was very charming, clean and it had the perfect size. Bathroom was next door, it was clean in the morning but was difficult to keep clean over the day. The staff made me felt very welcome and always were... More

I had a great stay here. The rooms are basic but cheap and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The camp is located right at the beach and very close to the shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is great and relaxing.

I had a really great week at Marine Garden! The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and friendly. When my shower didn'w work, it was fixed within minutes. Nice restaurant area... More

Our stay was most enjoyable. The guys at marine gardens were friendly, helpful and fun. We felt relaxed and at home during our stay. Jimmy cooked up delicious and cheap food, in the comfortable dining area at the camp. Manager and receptionist were lovely and accommodating. Views are very beautiful from the camp, the sea lapping almost by your door.... More

One of the first (and last) traditional Bedouin camps, located at the Lighthouse Reef, around the corner of the busier part of Dahab. I spent 1 week here. Most rooms, located around a spacious interior court, have sea view (and breeze). Rooms are very basic, but everything worked: lights and electricity, wash basin with hot and cold running water, powerful... More

I liked the atmosphere very much, it was very friendly and inviting, cozy and clean! The owner showed me around and was very service minded. And I liked the dogs and cats that were welcoming me all the time! The toilets were not always working, and it was a little difficult to take a shower in the bathroom of my... More

I am a Dahab regular and this time I decided to visit Marine Garden Camp in March after a friend recommended it to me. I loved it so much. As soon as I arrived I felt like home and very welcomed by the friendly staff. The camp is managed by a bedouin family who does great job to provide comfort... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Marine Garden is a Bedouin Camp, a unique type of accommodation found only in the Sinai region of Egypt. It is ideal for the independent minded backpacker as we offer low prices, independency, and a truly laid-back atmosphere. Our camp is at the seafront in the Lighthouse area of Dahab and has unobstructed views of the Red Sea. The owners have worked hard to preserve the traditional Bedouin flavour of the camp. It is one of the few authentic camps left in the town. The emphasis is on partnership and sociability rather than on hard-line business.' ... more   less
