But if you are wondering if it's worth to overnight at Abu Simbel (and Seti) or do Abu Simbel as a day trip from Aswan, I would definitely go with the latter. The setting for this hotel is beautiful. It's right on Lake Nasser and the pool and most rooms overlook the lake. Although it's a 3 star hotel, the rooms are clean and nice. The only disappointing part is the food. You almost have to eat here and the buffet is ordinary. I would definitely stay here again. more
