Yes, it's budget, yes, it's miles from anywhere, but this is probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I saw pretty much every room, and there were rat droppings in all of them except the one I choose. Then I realise there were rat droppings in the bathroom. The bed was dirty, the floor was dirty. Nobaleh Ramsis Around 200LE ensuite This is the most central of the Abu Simbel hotels, although fairly basic. The rooms I’ve seen are quite clean although some bathrooms leave much to be desired. There's no wifi. Shops are just outside and the market square is across the street. If there's no-one at reception, just ask at the grocery store opposite.... More

This place is filthy (kitchen, hall, garden, showers). There is no management presence. At check-in we were asked to leave our passports in order for the manager to make a photocopy. We would not leave our passeports, so we brought back the copy and it remains unattended for 5 hours, along with our key, at the desk. The manager was... More
