We have stayed in many Jersey shore towns over the years. Avalon-Stone Harbor is among the nicest . For us, this island has become our destination of choice. Have stayed here previously and found it conveniently located. We loved the unit we stayed in on the first floor, 117. Had all the amenities we like and feel the kitchen, although small, had everything we needed to make our vacation enjoyable. stayed in Rm. 202. It needs serious TLC from a handyman and an exterminator. Ants in the kitchen. Cabinets and countertop sagging from age, drawers barely open and door hinges worn.
