My Wife and I stayed at the Golden Inn for 2 nights - June 28 and 29. This is generally peak season and you certainly pay for it - $300 - $400 per night. First off - Noise !. I just returned from a 2 day Leadership Conference for work which was held at the Golden Inn. Over the years we have held these conferences in various sites throughout the state. Very few places open during February-March in Avalon and Stone Harbor. Walked in to book the reservation. Was given a decent price and decided to stay after looking at the room.
