Nice place, managed by two sisters, very caring. Place can be improved. Overall nice and clean. Would like to see some improvement. Would recommend and come back for sure. The location is far from the beach.

We were unexpectedly delayed in Manta and decided on the Hotel Nazo after checking Tripadvisor. Were not disappointed with this boutique hotel. Compact, clean, fresh rooms with a touch of Japanese inspiration. Great shower and very helpful, friendly manager. The downstairs restaurant serves great Argentinian BBQ and just across the road is another restaurant with a large choice of menu.... More

Minimalist room design. Most basic included breakfast ever experienced in Ecuador. Spacious shower with great water pressure. Internal noise high. External road noise average to high for Ecuador. Very attentive staff. Excellent onsite Argentinian restaurant - order a steak -superb!. Bit pricey (carnival rate) for average hotel.

Four of us stayed for one night in two separate rooms. Rooms were clean compact well laid out. Excellent water pressure (in Ecuador this can be an issue). The onsite restaurant is an Argentinian, not Japanese but excellent food. The location is quiet and a bit off the beaten track thank goodness. Very easy to find as it is accross... More

From reading the other reviews, I don't think I can add much. It's a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super. The price of the room was very reasonable, $65 per night plus tax and service charges. If this hotel has any negatives, it would be a) it's not walkable to things... More

We came into Manta with our puppy not knowing where we would stay. Well we came to Hotel Nazo and what a pleasant surprise. Clean quiet and friendly. The staff go out of their way to help and be there for you. Then we had dinner in the restuarant. Prices seemed a bit high but when our food came it... More

There's nothing like stumbling onto a new, stylish hotel with clever management. Most hotels in Ecuador have a friendly staff but not all of them are well educated in a traveler's needs and expectations. It's easy to see that this owner/manager, is well traveled herself and has put high standards on her own establishment. The hotel is small but the... More

Free wifi, views of the Pacific, a small fridge, a safe , our room 10 has a small balcony and did I mention clean. :-) . We booked on booking.com and saved abit..cost about $79 plus taxes for two persons and worth... More

This is a wonderful little hotel run by a terrific family who will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has a Japanese motif reflecting the families previous life in the orient for this east coast of Russia family. The rooms are very warm with touches of a fine hotel such as good lighting,...
