We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise. We had an enormous room on the top floor with a huge window for great fresh air. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I think people wouldn't complain about some irregularities if they remember where they are. Galapagos is remote and it is... More

We landed at Hotel Fernandina courtesy of the travel agency that arranged our one-week trip. We (family of four divided into two rooms) had a pleasant stay. Here's why. Hotel Fernandina is a low-rise (two level) hotel on a quiet street, about 3 blocks from the "bustling downtown" of Puerto Ayora. We encountered two managers, one a friendly and accommodating... More

Like most reviews, my views are the same. Just an average hotel and very plain. But OK. Water pressure and hot water seem to be the common problem here. We had a very active vacation in the Galapagos so a nice shower hot was desired. No such luck. If you complained, water dot a little better. I didn't understand that.... More

Stayed there while we were visiting Galapagos. Nice two story building with covered walkway and sitting areas both in the front by the check in area and near the rooms. The food we ate there were so so. They also have a swimming pool across the street but I guess no one really goes swimming in a hotel pool on... More

Clean, with very simple rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel was well-maintained, including the pool. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is convenient, a few minutes walk from the docks and restaurants.

This hotel was booked as part of an organized trip. Despite a rather positive first impression, agreeable surroundings, little inside courtyard set with plants, tables and chairs, good location between the town center (10-15 min walk) and the Charles Darwin Foundation, use of the swimming pool and the bedrooms were spacious and clean, we were disappointed by what follows. Indeed... More

I stayed here one night before joining a cruise and I'm really satisfied with what they offer. The room, mine at least, is really spacious and clean, containing 2 single beds, arm chair and a table with chairs. Shelfs to put your stuff away and a spacious and clean bathroom with a good hot shower. The decoration is basic as... More

This was my favorite hotel on the islands. The staff here were friendly, helpful and they all spoke English! The room, while it was very basic, was clean and had everything you really needed except a TV. I don’t generally watch TV on vacation anyway, so this was no big deal. The grounds are neat and tidy as well. And... More

I loved this hotel. It's very clean and neat and have the best aircon. Trust me you will need aircon! There is a lovely outside area to sit and a pool. It's run by n family, which adds a nice touch. Their friendliness is very welcoming! It's not on the water, about 5 min walk from town, but a taxi... More
