My family and I absolutely loved the Galapagos and the red mangrove made our stay so much better! The hotel was beautiful, the people were all so helpful, and our tour guides were perfect!! Jimmy and Jorge were our tour guides as we traveled around the Galapagos and they made our visit amazing! Jorge knew everything there was to know... More

We LOVED everything about this hotel.. it was beautiful and the people were amazing. Our stay was perfectly coordinated by and with our tour guides, Jimmy and Jorge, on both Santa Cruz and Isabela, which made our stay perfect. Jorge's knowledge about the Galapagos was outstanding and Jimmy's enthusiasm and obvious love of his home made our family fall in... More

THE HOTELS (Scale 1-10) I stayed at the Aventura Lodge for about 6 nights and one night at their Isabella Island hotel. My comments are quite consistent for both. The staff I would rate as a 9. All were very friendly and were very accommodating. The food I would give a 6/7. The variety and preparation were excellent. The reason... More

We were very happy with our experience. The hotel is clean and the Galápagos certified naturalist and tour escort Pablo was great. He stayed with us when we also went to the Red Mangrove Inn on Isabela Island. The guides are retained by the hotel. We booked through Rowe Adventures in the U.S. This hotel is right on the water... I really have mixed feelings about my experience in Puerto Ayora. You would expect a sanctuary to nature and instead you find yourself on an island where the locals have not been educated to protect the environment and are struggling to make a living. This results in dogs on the street, illegally imported cars and all the issues linked to... More

Our stay went way beyond our expectations! Such a unique experience to have sea lions and iguanas just outside your room (and beside you while you eat/ relax on the deck). Rooms were very clean, food was delicious and more importantly, service--- from the reception to the waiters in the restaurant, was exceptional (special mention to Jenny of the front... More

RED MANGROVE 5 Day Discover Darwin package is what I experienced. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, THE ACCOMODATIONS LOVELY, THE FOOD EXCEPTIONAL, THE PEOPLE HELPFUL AND THE DIVING BEYOND ANY I HAVE EXPERIENCEDS!!! Traveling to Puerto Ayora requires a bus or taxi ride to the ferry, then a short ferry ride and then a drive to the south, Puerto Ayora. Red... More

My friend and I booked the 7 Days/ 6 Nights Darwin's Triangle Galapagos Adventure. The first two nights we spent in San Cristobal at a Hotel Katarma. Day one arriving in San Cristobal we were taken to a local restaurant for lunch with our tour guide and then to Playa Mann Beach to swim and see the sealions. The next... More

My wife and I just returned from three relaxing nights at Red Mangrove. Its nature setting, within a mangrove, gives it a very natural feeling. The deck overlooking the Pto Ayora bay is home to sea lions, marine iguanas, all kinds of birds and fish. We even saw mantas jumping. The accomodations are spacious, and the service was friendly. Breakfast... More

Carolina and Jenny were smart, flexible and accommodating of our needs. Rafael was a logistics guru. And Richard and Pablo were experts in the Galapagos flora and fauna as well as great communicators. A Wonderful crew.
