We stayed there three nights. Our room was fine, but very basic. It was definitely clean and quiet, but had no view of ocean or trees, just the rooms across the walkway. There were no windows- only a slider that was the front of the room. The curtains were mostly drawn so that people weren't looking in as they were... More

Bad service and horrible food. We came here back in 2004 and were happy with the service but when we came in January of 2015 we were extremely disappointed. Visually the hotel is attractive and unique and the restaurant has a nice view. The hotel is full of biting ants and because the hotel sits on a mangrove the mosquitoes... More

The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. The Guides Jimmy and Jorge made the trip truly wonderful for us. Both men have a passion for showing the guests the beauty of the Galapagos, especially its wildlife.

Hotel is close to town with a beautiful view of the water. Sea lions and marine iguanas all over the porch. We had some amazing excursions with Jimmy and Jorge. Front desk staff and wait staff at hotel are all very friendly and accomodating. We were so happy that we could walk to town at night instead of sleeping on... More

My family and I absolutely loved the Galapagos and the red mangrove made our stay so much better! The hotel was beautiful, the people were all so helpful, and our tour guides were perfect!! Jimmy and Jorge were our tour guides as we traveled around the Galapagos and they made our visit amazing! Jorge knew everything there was to know... More

We LOVED everything about this hotel.. it was beautiful and the people were amazing. Our stay was perfectly coordinated by and with our tour guides, Jimmy and Jorge, on both Santa Cruz and Isabela, which made our stay perfect. Jorge's knowledge about the Galapagos was outstanding and Jimmy's enthusiasm and obvious love of his home made our family fall in... More

THE HOTELS (Scale 1-10) I stayed at the Aventura Lodge for about 6 nights and one night at their Isabella Island hotel. My comments are quite consistent for both. The staff I would rate as a 9. All were very friendly and were very accommodating. The food I would give a 6/7. The variety and preparation were excellent. The reason... More

We were very happy with our experience. The hotel is clean and the Galápagos certified naturalist and tour escort Pablo was great. He stayed with us when we also went to the Red Mangrove Inn on Isabela Island. The guides are retained by the hotel. We booked through Rowe Adventures in the U.S. This hotel is right on the water... I really have mixed feelings about my experience in Puerto Ayora. You would expect a sanctuary to nature and instead you find yourself on an island where the locals have not been educated to protect the environment and are struggling to make a living. This results in dogs on the street, illegally imported cars and all the issues linked to... More

Our stay went way beyond our expectations! Such a unique experience to have sea lions and iguanas just outside your room (and beside you while you eat/ relax on the deck). Rooms were very clean, food was delicious and more importantly, service--- from the reception to the waiters in the restaurant, was exceptional (special mention to Jenny of the front... More
