We had a lovely time basing our Galapagos trip at Red Mangrove. We stayed at two of their properties. They arrange everything for you. Send you off on an adventure with a prepared lunch and towels. Cater to your individual requests (like vegetarian food). The room we had was huge and looked out over the bay. Plenty of sunlight. Elizabeth... More

I recently joined a group of 19 other travelers to visit the Galapagos Islands. Our first and final nights were at the Red Mangrove Aventura Hotel. Our group was met by the staff at the entrance with a cool drink and escorted to the check in area and restaurant. We had a lovely lunch waiting for us and a chance... More

A group of us (seven) decided to visit Galapagos Islands through a Travelzoo special. It it included Santa Cruz and Isabela island. The manager Elizabeth Mora was the most helpful person throughout this booking she returns emails and inquiries promptly she arranged all of our transfers until the day that we left she was in the lobby to make sure... Our experience was more than just a bit annoying as there was a bait and switch when booking this hotel. The lodge has four properties. Only the address for the main property is listed on booking.com before final confirmation. We first checked for the best hotel fee ($120) on TA, then went to booking.com to complete our booking and was... More

Careful with the pricing on this hotel - online (e.g. Booking.com) often show the rate at $230 which with the 22% tax and service ends up being $280. Totally not worth that price, esp since you can't cancel additional nights if you booked through Booking.com. If you must stay here look for local or last minute rates which are more... More

Dear Guest, We respect your feedback but are completely disagree. The lodge is located between mangrove trees and in front of the sea, so you should expect the natural smell coming from it. we done the cleaning 3 times a day, garbages bins are placed outside the hotel to help prevent the garbage is thrown on the street and mangroves.... This lodge was comfortable, and the service was great. The staff really was accommodating, and the deck was always covered with marine iguanas and sea lions (who grabbed the chaises longues before anyone else). The buffet was a nice touch for meals, with good variety. I didn't give the lodge 5 stars because of an incident upon arrival. Someone met... More

I spent about 5 days at the Red Mangrove Lodge and loved every minute. It is small, beautiful, fun, low key, and I would go back in a heart beat. The rooms are very lovely, spacious, and comfy. I ate several meals at the restaurant and all were delicious. I highly recommend the seafood risotto; so good I ordered it... More

Jimmy Patino was a outstanding tour guide. From the time he picked us up at the airport until our departure he attended to every detail and ensured our trip was memorable. I would highly recommend that you ask for Mr. Patino as your tour guide.

What a magical place! We stayed at Red Mangrove during our package tour of the Galapagos! It was amazing. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The wifi signal in the room was also good. We had meals included in our package and they were fantastic. The breakfast and dinner buffets changed every day. The coffee was good. The lunch... More

From start to finish the staff handled our every need. It was so beautiful and peaceful there too. Also they way the handled our luggage, snorkeling equipment, and activities was seamless and required little effort on our part. I think this is quite possible the best hotel on the island and I would highly recommend it. Nice variety of food... More
