I booked a king bed room for 7 nights. When my wife and I arrived for our stay we were taken to a room across the street from the hotel. It was a dingy apartment style room with a funky kitchenette and a double bed. There was an old air conditioner only in the bed room. When we complained that... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of our South America tour. The staff were happy and helpful, both in the reception, dining area and at the bar. Breakfast had a variety of tropical fruits, cereals, juices, eggs, bacon and tea or coffee. All the breakfasts, lunches and dinners that we ate there were very enjoyable. One night I did... More

As part of a tour group, we stayed at the Hotel Silberstein at Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island for four nights from 6 March to 10 March 2014. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk to the Charles Darwin Centre in one direction and the main shopping area in the other. Our room was clean and... More

The hotel is a cosy nice place just by the main "downtown", a short ten minute walk to the docks. Our room was on the second floor, a quiet corner of the property- very clean and lots of natural light. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering assistance whenever needed. The restaurant on site was very good also, not... More

My friends and I stayed at this hotel before proceeding to Galapagos. Our agent booked for a double bed room, but we were given two tiny rooms with bunk beds and our friends room air-conditioning was not working and yet the Receptionist and a man she brought with her insisted it was working!! We called our agent to clarify with... More

Our family of five adults stayed in two rooms for seven nights at this wonderful property. Our day tours were arranged through the hotel by the tour company with which they are partnered. All tours were set prior to our arrival. Our package included transportation to/from the airport, tours and meals. From start to finish, every activity was without fault.... More

This hotel has a super restaurant with great food at good prices. They turned the a/c on just for us as we were the only ones there for lunch! Very friendly staff and s nice atmosphere away from the heat and humidity. Nice gardens outside and very close to the Darwin Center.

We had a very night 3 night stay at Hotel Silberstein. The ladies behind the desk were always friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, no television, but it's the Galapagos and we weren't there to watch tv. The pool looked nice, but we never ventured in. The food at the restaurant was not particularly good, but we did appreciate... More
