Only stayed here one night but really enjoyed it -- clean, comfortable, quiet. The owner Kevin was a wealth of information about Galapagos and really helped me plan out my independent visit to the islands. Also, when they were booked for the following night, Kevin was kind enough to help me find alternate lodging nearby and gave the cab driver... More

My daughter and I stayed for 7 nights back in May. It was everything that had been advertised. As promised Kevin gave us a guided tour of the town pointing out restaurants, tour agencies, ATMs, etc. and informing us of how things work on the island e.g. taxis, events, and sights. Kevin continued to be helpful the entire stay and... More

The owner, Kevin is a really nice guy and clearly enjoys what he does. Our travel plans changed various times but he was always able to communicate to us via email which was nice when you are frantically trying to find a place last minute then cancelling it again. We didn´t do the guided tour but I hear it is... More

On checking in, the owner, Kevin ;took us for an impromptu guided tour of Puerto Ayora and showed us a variety of eating and drinking places, the supermarket and laundry and the location of the ATM's and explained the vagaries of their operation. The rooms are well maintained and clean, air conditioned, have a fridge and unlimited purified drinking water... More

We spend 3 nights here last week, it was great stay. My wife loves the room since we can cook by ourselves after one week eating in the restaurant. My kid loves it cause Kevin's cat, always play with her. Living there is like at home, even we were in the first room beside the entrance it was very quiet.... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights, in three rooms, in order for our family to scuba dive at Puerto Ayoro before our Galapagos cruise. Clean, comfortable, with A/C, big jugs of drinking water in the rooms, plenty of hot water for showers, towels, bed linens, kitchenettes in rooms. Rooms are on three floors, with stairs. As noted repeatedly below, Kevin... More

Clean spacious rooms with a well equipped kitchen, but the best part of the hotel is the manager Kevin. We wanted to extend our stay at Galapagos Best, but when there wasn't space Kevin went to the trouble of finding us another place in town for one night at the same price.

A great find with a friendly and helpful opener, Kevin, great rooms with air con, kitchenette, free water and hot water showers! Only downside is its a bit of a walk but we took $1 taxis when we weren't up for it. Definitely recommended.

wonderful time staying here. It was a bit far from town but cab rides were about 1USD to anywhere in town. The place was clean and comfortable with a great host who ensured that I was settled in and oriented. highly recommended to anyone who visits galapagos on a budget

Stayed for about 7 nights in a dorm with four beds. The rooms are very clean and there is a possibility to cook your own food if u with. But the best is the tranquil atmosphere and the friendly helpfulness of the manager Kevin.
