We stayed only one night because we did not find this place sooner. We asked for one of there less expensive rooms and enjoyed the peaceful privacy of a room in the back downstairs, B3. The room itself was large enough but we did get a laugh from the fact that we had to step over the toilet to get... More

It went all wrong from the beginning. We got to the hotel, and there was no one at the reception. Later on we discovered that was the way the hotel worked. There is never someone at the reception. People would have to shout for someone to give them their room keys. The room was nasty. There was human excrement and... More

We were on a stopover to Isabella and came across this place. The hotel is very central to the town. The room was clean, bed comfy, clean sheets, the room was smallish, average 1m around the bed, bathroom was newish and the rooms appeared to be renovated a few years back. It felt newish not a dump. We paid 40 for... More

We were a group of people for whom rooms were ordered at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. My recommendation is simple: stay away from this place! It is indeed cheap and on the main street, and 150 meters from the pier in the harbor. But there is almost nothing else that I can... More

What can I say, we wanted to leave as fast as possible. We were recommended this hotel by my uncle because he somehow knows the owner (I am from the US and my wife is from Ecuador). My uncle made a reservation for us that was supposed to be $70 for a double and a family room. The owner put... More

This place is relatively cheap (we payed $40 for a double room) and at a convenient location. However, I woudn't go back there. Members of staff were sometimes remarkably moody and some of the towels had holes and staines. Our shower was cold on most days because, as we were told, its warm enough outside. But when it's a bit... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights after a major fiasco at Hotel Ninfa. THis hotel is very simple, but the owner is really nice and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean (try to get rooms on higher floors, they are more updated). The hotel is right across from a street filled with outdoor restaurants that serve... More

I stayed in Sir Frances Drake for two nights before heading to other islands. The hotel is OK overall. No breakfast is included and we had an OK nights sleep and the hot water is very good. However - - The room appeared to be very, very hot. There was a ceiling fan but it often started to rattle in... More

Walked in off the road and booked a room. Staff are friendly. The room, which cost $40, was clean and had the largest shower I had used in South America (although struggled to get hot water). Wifi was available outside the reception window, but nowhere to sit down, so had to sit on the steps. The hotel is a 3... More
