This hotel was chosen by the tour company for us. It was a very nice hotel with lovely clean rooms. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend this hotel

Clean quiet hotel with lovely pool. Our room 111 was large with tiled floor and 2 3/4 beds pushed together. Beds were hard. There are no English speaking staff which was a problem as we had no hot water. Even showing staff member the problem did not fix hot water. Our bathroom was small and older but clean. We used... We booked a mid-price hotel with our tour company and were well pleased with Villa Laguna. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a good size and we had a small balcony. There was a small swimming pool, but unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to use it as our tours... More

Villa Laguna Hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Rooms are small, but a/c works well. Staff does struggle with english, but they were able to do everything I needed in my 5 night stay in August 2014. 5 minute walk to the main street of Puerto Ayora for dive centers, shops, and restaurants. Daily breakfast is nice with tables set... More

We spent 3 nights here- 2 families with 4 rooms. It was booked for us by the tour company so I had no idea of other reviews before travelling. First problem was that there was no one there during our stay on staff who was over the age of maybe 22 and no one who spoke English. This is not... More

The only relevant problem is water pressure. Also there is only cold water and hot water, no middle ground. Besides that little issue, the place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the complementary breakfast is tasty. Also great location, 3 minutes walk to the mainstreet.

We stayed at the Villa Laguna in Puerto Ayora for one night before taking a Galapagos cruise. What a wonderful little hotel. It is centrally located in town, with everything within walking distance. It is clean, the decor is simple, but very comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The pool was a very refreshing way to cool down after... More

We stayed here on the beginning of a Galapagos boat tour. It is tucked away but close to town. Lovely ambiance and service, and a charming pool. The beds are a bit hard and pillows could be softer, but it is so lovely that it works anyway. Breakfast was quite nice, and all the wood touches are very attractive.

Lovely hotel, off the main street for peace & quiet. It is a 5 minute walk to the harbor, and the main street. Staff were very helpful, although be prepared to use your Spanish, as communication was an issue without a guide to interpret. There is a pool for relaxation, and the beach is also not that far away. The... More

We stayed here for a total of four nights over the course of two stays in Nov/Dec 2013 and were really happy. It's nice - especially once you've ventured to other islands and you know your way around. The basics: 1. Be ready to climb the stairs and carry your own bags. While this might seem obvious to a backpacker,... More
