We stayed there as a couple for one night. After a couple of nights without AC and less sleep we tried this more pricy place in hope to rest better. We inspected to room on the upper level which was clean and offered a compfy bed. The AC was new, worked well, almost noiseless. Nevertheless we were not happy with... More

Out of the hundreds of places I've stayed, this place sticks out. It's my first one star review. First, we needed a place when we couldn't book this night in our preferred spot. We walked in 2 days before to book and didn't check the Tripadvisor reviews for this place (big mistake obviously). The lady behind the desk begrudgingly dragged... More

At the time of writing this (December 2014) there was a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood (think jackhammers) and it seemed like the projects would be ongoing for some time. On this fact alone I would recommend some of the other hotels. Was charged 35USD a night for a room with two beds, hot water, an old... More

We stayed 2 nights after staying in flamingo hotel. The rooms are ok. But The people operating the place are not nice and will do not more then the minimum neccesery. The place is overpriced and you will get more in cheaper price in other hostels around.

The only thing going for this hotel is its location, the cafe next door 'Ramy Subs' and the $15usd pp p/n. Otherwise it is totally a shamble. The owner never even got off the phone when I wanted to check in, nor managed a smile the whole time we were there. Then on check out they tried to over charge... More

Clean rooms, hot water, uncomfortable beds. Hotel owners unfortunately have a problem with people in that they don't appear to like or want to help or even great their customers. Quoted one price and tried to charge more. I think they would be happier retired or in another profession which does not involve the human race. Its a shame as... More

I stayed at the Hotel Salinas for one night. They charged me 38 US Dollars even without breakfast included. The room is small, no air-condition. The stuff there don't speak English and are very rude. The receptionist looks so blue and she never smiles. The only advantage is that the hotel is within a walking distance from the pier where... More

This hotel is most definitely in need of owners who care for their guests, who want to be in the hospitality sector and who have a clue about how to treat people. It is scandalous they are still renting rooms as there are so many other options in Puerto Ayora that will welcome you and give you the experience of... More

Ok the hotel is well located (5 min of port)...That's all ! The staff is rude, dishonest and completely incompetent. Breakfast (when they want to serve it) is disgusting, rooms are poor. It's not even cheap compared to others hotels around.

This place is disgusting. It is completely overpriced The owners are rude and nasty. The old man with the mustache has poor hygiene and is arrogant and vindictive. The breakfast is appaling and consists of a single slice of bread and some jam. The rooms are poor with no electricity sockets and very poor security with wire netting windows. They... More
