We arrived on the San Cristobal Boat mid morning very hot and tired and in the middle of a parade. We saw the Hostal Elizabeth sign from the dock and booked our stay. we were on the third floor and had a wonderful view of the bay. Very friendly staff, very very convenient location. The fan was sufficient for us,... More

This hotel is quite ok. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The owner is very nice. The location is very good, everything is in walking distance. The wifi is slow but it works. The rooms are not very big but ok. The negative thing: the beds were very uncomfortable and it is quite noisy during the night. The price is... More

We only stayed one night because it was so small that you could'nt go to the toilet or have a shower without leaving the door open. It was also dirty, very noisy, unsafe & expensive for the lack of quality. We found significantly better accomodation for a cheaper rate one street back from the waterfront. The owners were very helpful when... More

We stayed two nights and he helped us a lot to arrange things like round trips, booking boat tickets and wich tasty food to eat among many other things wich made our visit to the island an easy stay. The location is just a little walk from the harbour if you arrive from a boat.

We were traveling on a budget and couldn't afford a nicer hotel. Santa Cruz is more expensive and more touristic than San Cristobal, and this hostal is in the lower price range you can expect to pay on this island. That's ok, we accepted that we weren't getting anything fancy or super comfy, but the hostel was actually *very* dirty... More

We were there for only one night, before leaving for Isla Isabella. I would not have spend more time there, as the room was dirty (we found mouse droppings in a drawer), tiny, noisy and unsafe (the big window opening on the main corridor could not be locked). It is true that the owners are nice, but asking 35$ for... More

I had only two nights and three days at galapagos islands, and I spent all the nights at this hotel. What I liked the most about the hotel is staffs here. I was a solo female traveler and they tried their best to make my trip the most of it in such a short time. I did not even waste... More

We booked here prior to arrival and we got twin share when we wanted a double. The room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller. We felt we could shower and go to the toilet at the same time. We decided to leave the toilet door open as it was impossible to sit on the toilet with the door... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hostel Elizabeth during our 4 day stay on in Puerto Ayora. Hostal Elizabeth was recommended to us by a fellow back packer at a hostel in Quito and we were not disappointed. Before we arrived we checked out some reviews and almost all are true. Felipe is a fantastic guy, he truly cares about... More

I feel bad writing this since the owners are so nice. They are very knowledgeable about the island and are super helpful. But, the place is very rundown and noisy. The rooms in the pictures look nothing like the rooms we were shown. We were planning to stay four nights, but we had to go to another place after just... More
