Stayed here only for a couple of nights in March 2015 on the way back from Isla Isabela. Gundi is an excellent host who made sure our short stay was very smooth. She picked us up at the pier when we returned from Puerto Villamil, and also arranged for a taxi ride to the airport and helped us with the... More

I think our title says it all. We spent 2 nights here in November 2010 and I have been meaning to write this for 4+ years! Wish we could've stayed longer, and in fact we often think about taking a sabbatical here, and staying for an extended time. This place was beautiful inside and out, and the owner is lovely.

Not sure why it took me so long to write this review. We loved Gundi and Jean's Home. This was a perfect base to explore Galapagos. Gundi knew the best tours and set them up for us at the best prices. The B&B is cozy, clean, very welcoming and perfect for a family or a couple. We trusted Gundi so... More

I fully agree with previous reviews. Gundi is the perfect host, takes care about your needs and arranges tours at your convenience. The breakfast is very tasty and the atmosphere relaxing in a very quiet surrounding. You can really feel at home.Highly recommended. Stayed 4 nights in Ocotober 2014.

Jean's Home is relaxed and spacious and spotlessly clean. It's a two minute water taxi ride away from all the shops and restaurants and other services you may require. Gundi know these islands well and has a wealth of information to help you make the very best of your stay. This is a lady who cares passionately about the wildlife... More

Our stay in Jeans Hotel was most pleasurable. It was a peaceful and relaxed home from home with the added value of a kind person taking very good care of us. It's also fun to take the little boat from the main port, which is really not trouble at all as they run all the time. A very good address... More

Booked this accommodation after reading reviews here and it was truly excellent. Gundi is a host who goes the extra mile. She meets you in town, is an ex-quire, so can offer tuely excellent impartial information and advice. Here rooms are large, comfortable and homely, far removed from Puert Ayora which is a disappointment. the story of Jean's Home is... More

I was so fortunate to have stayed at Jean's Home last July. I am sorry that it took me so long to write this review. Gundi is an amazing host and an amazing person. Having lived her whole life on the island, she has the most amazing stories. I believe that she said that she was one of the first... More

Just got back from a 7 day land trip to Galapagos. This trip was 1 year in the planning and from our first email 7 months ago, Gundi has been an absolute star! She was endlessly informative and extremely patient with all our changes in plans. When we finally arrived for our last leg of the trip, she was there... More

Jean's Home is an incredibly cosy guesthouse located just a 2 minute water taxi ride from the docks and city centre. The rooms are clean and spacious and the only sounds you will ever hear is from the many birds as no cars are permitted on this side of the town. However Jeans Home is much more than just a... More
