We were a little worried about staying here, because of some of the reviews. But we liked our stay, the rooms were nice, a fine bathroom with hot water. A lovely common area with hammocks and tv, wifi was good, but only in common area. The price was 50$ for a double one night. It is a good price for... More

This was fine for our one night stay. We reserved the rooms at $61 per night which was collected as soon as we checked in. The stairways are narrow and curved so it will be a challenge bringing up large pieces of luggage. The seating area downstairs was comfortable, there's a hammock, restrooms, a small restaurant open during breakfast hours,... More

I have slept in this "Hotel" for 1 night, fortunately, with my wife and I must say it was the worst night out of our 2 week trip on Galapagos. FIrst we had to change room because there was no hot water in the first they gave us, the second one was not really clean, found a hair on the... More

I was visiting the Islands some time ago, and we didnt have very good plans and we wanted to safe time and take advantage of it so we got a full day tour at this place in the reception and oooh surprise next morning we were ready for it and after waiting about 30 minutes we just realized that the... Espana is a basic hotel, but it is pleasant and cheap. I paid $40 (less than £25) for B&B in a single room. The room was basic - no drawers and a open rail to support a few hangers. A few hooks and a small shelf. There was a TV and a noisey but efficient air conditioning unit. Bathroom with... More

Stayed on this hotel for an 8 days dive trip. The place is clean and secure. The wifi service is awfull. I was on the third floor and I did not get any signal. The only place where the signal is reasonable is in the mail lobby, and even there the speed is very slow. Breakfast is good, very complete.... More

I stayed in Hotel Espana several times over a 3 week period, and always came back because of the value. The rooms are small and simple but air conditioned. For $10 per night more you can get a premium room that is significantly better than a standard room. The hotel is very close to the downtown area. The staff are... More

The position of this place is good even if not on the main street along the ocean. The staff is available and breakfasts good. Rooms are quite spartan and hot but air conditioned works well. Both rooms and bathrooms were clean.
