Very nice place with unexpected visitors. If you will like to have breakfast close to Sea Lions, this is the place. The staff is very attending and friendly. Tours are a plus in this hotel with normal rates not excessive. If you want to be relax, out the city noise this is the place.

The location, our guide and the setting were the only reason I gave this place a two star instead of one. The food, service, and planning were terrible. We visited the Red Mangrove Lodge in March 2014. Upon our arrival we received not one but three different itineraries. Even with the various itineraries they still did not match what we... More

This was a lovely relaxing place to spend our time in the Galapagos Islands. The food was excellent and the views from the deck area amazing! Breakfast with a sea lion at your feet is surreal - this place is a whole world away from reality. The hotel is next to the Darwin Research Centre and there are some great... More

Thank you SO very much for helping to make our vacation, to the Galápagos Islands, a magnificent experience!! We loved our room, next to the sea lions, when we returned from Isabella!!! I'm well aware of how a travel agency can help to make or break your treasured time away from home and Red Mangrove truly helped to enhance an... More

If you get the chance to stay here, definitely go for it. I have never stayed anywhere so comfortable, and the place is simply divine. There are sealions sunning themselves on the deck/terrace area. This means that you can sit and eat your delicious breakfast whilst watching the Galapagos wildlife, very relaxed just a couple of metres from you. Absolutely... More

My only complaint would be the very erratic internet otherwise our stay was perfect. We had stayed one night before going to Isabela and there was a problem with the toilet. When we returned after our stay on Isabela we were given an upgrade to a beautiful room with two balconies and a huge bathroom. The sleeping comfort is excellent... More

We stayed in both the Diver's Lodge and the main hotel. The Diver's Lodge was very comfortable with everything that we needed. The main lodge was lovely with views over the ocean and a lovely deck. The food and restaurant staff were great . They catered to our every need and were so friendly. The front desk staff and manager... More

Just returned from my trip to the Galapagos, and had read most of the reviews here on trip advisor. I was afraid, very afraid. I don't think any one left much out except that you could not flush the toilet paper which put me over the edge!! The rooms were decent, not anywhere near your five star, however, the staff... More

With the accolades that the Red Mangrove claims to have earned and with the price we were paying, we believed that we were in the hands of the best tour company in the Galapagos. On the contrary, the Red Mangrove was the most unprofessional and most deceitful tour Company we have experienced in all of our travels to date. Upon... More

If you are keen to do the Galapagos Islands independently and for half the price of a cruise, then I recommend this hotel. The Divers Lodge is more basic than the main Red Mangrove hotel, but still had a large room with fridge, warm shower and we were very comfortable. It isn't as good a location as the main hotel,...
