A fantastic safari camp on Santa Cruz in the Galapagos. The location is perfect away from the main town of Puerto Ayora - an oasis of calm. It is set in the beautiful and lush Highlands. Stunning views to the west overlooking Daphne minor and major islands as well as Santiago and on a good day Isabela. It is on... More

Daily interactions with Catherine, the manager, made this a special place. She took time for every guest including personally driving a sick child into the village to see a doctor. The tents have hardwood flows and full bathrooms and are serviced three times a day. The pool is lovely and sell cared for. Catherine arranged for us to have a... More

The good news is that this is a great place to stay. The bad news is we only stayed one night, and wish it would have been much longer. Other reviews have documented what a wonderfully unique place this is, and we totally agree. You have the treatment and services of a luxury hotel, with the personalized attention of a... More

You can tell by the five-star rating that I loved it, but I want this review to be practical, so you know exactly what you are getting. First, the location. You are up high, and and least when we were there usually among clouds. That means it can be very damp, so forget about drying your clothes outside at the... More

What can I say....GSC is absolutely awesome! Its been a dream to go to the Galapagos and GSC was definitely the icing on the cake. The tents are super luxurious with queen beds (2twins pushed together), your own private batheroom with a great hot water power shower, fantastic vistas out the beach and sea - don't miss having a cocktail... My friend and I stayed at the Safari in November 2013. I would not stay there again if they gave me a free week and a round trip airfare. There was very little hot water and we had 4 meals there and 3 out of the 4 were fish. There was no choice in what you ate they served you... More

Galapagos Safari Camp strives to constantly improve and we take feedback seriously. While there are management issues brought to light that are indeed our responsibility, there are also many unfounded accusations and assumptions related to our business in this review. We are writing directly to our guest to clarify matters. We sincerely hope that the encouraging positive feedback we have... More

Incredible island retreat and best way to unwind after the boat cruize around the islands. Fantastic camping tents that are far more luxurious that 'tent' implies, amazingly helpful and polite staff and unbelievably good food. Crossing the threshold at the end of the day immediately dropped your shoulders and helped you to unwind. Definitely recommend it to anyone for a... More

We've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this experience was unique. When I say "tent" you may think camping. This was anything but. Free wifi, airconditioning/heating, electricity, shower, and our own deck with an amazing view. The young staff went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were fresh and yummy and dinners were beautifully... More

In the highlands of Santa Cruz, Galagapos, this Africian-style safari camp is a nice place to relax and enjoy good food and good company. The tents are good, beds are hard, but the hot water is pleantiful and the showers are nice. A space heater provides heat during the cool nights. This is not the luxury tents of the Four... More

This property is unique, as are the Galapagos Islands themselves. The rooms are luxury tents based on the African safari concept of being immersed amongst nature. The tents have lovely views and many birds come to the tents and your balcony. The lodge also has a viewing point to watch the sun set, with incredible views of neighbouring islands. By... More
