My husband and I were thrilled with our choice to stay at the Galapagos Safari camp. We opted for a package with activities and excursions put together by the Safari Camp staff including boat trips to other islands, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, viewing all kinds of wildlife and plants. The camp is a divine retreat in the highlands of Santa Cruz.... More

We spent 3 days in the Camp as the first stop on our Galapagos holiday, joining a 7 day cruise immediately after. What an amazing beginning to this holiday of a lifetime. The camp is beautiful, the tents very comfortable (the recent refurbishment has added to the space and quality of the accommodation) and the staff could not be more... More

Tabitha- Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the tripadvisor community. We are so glad you were able to enjoy and appreciate our Safari Camp prior to your cruise. People seldom understand how intensive the cruises can be and how spending a few days pre or post cruise surrounded really help your mind and body in slowing down... More

My entire family loved this place...Catherine is one of the best managers I've ever met. She makes you feel like you are her best friend from the minute you enter. The setting is gorgeous, the tents and family suite are very comfortably appointed and the food was 5 star gourmet (but with a chef willing to accommodate even our family's... More

Dear Cathy- It was wonderful having your family stay with us!! Yes, unwinding after a cruise is one of the most popular ways that people enjoy our services. Seldom really understand just how exhausting and regimented a Galapagos cruise can be. We got a good laugh out of your comment about the picky eater just liking butter and cheese on... More

What a delight to spend several evenings in a tent on stilts to afford ocean view and be surrounded by a cloud forest. It feels like you are the only one on the property as I couldn't even see the nearest tent because of the full foliage. Gourmet dinner was wonderful and visit from the chef during dinner made it... Arlene- Thank you so much for your glowing review. We are most impressed to hear that you have been following us for 5 years and finally had the chance to come visit! It has been quite a development from when we started! We originally started as just a lodge, but based on demand from guests started to offer customized touring... More

As part of my husbands 50th birthday suprise trip to the Galapagos, we stayed here for 3 nights in October. It turned out that we were the only ones at the camp and we had a magical time as everything was perfect. The attention to detail and little touches made our stay. The tone was set by the personal greeting... More

We stayed here in April and it was incredible. From the moment we were greeted by Katrien at the entrance to our escorted departure at the airport, every detail was looked after. The weather was incredible and we had beautiful vistas from our tent to the water. Every excursion was well planned and Katrien worked around our schedule changes with... More

The Safari Camp is based on the west side of the Highlands of Santa Cruz. So first warning is that you do get the famed highlands cloud and mist, but being to the west there is a greater than likely chance that you will miss the worst of it. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed three gorgeous sunsets -... More

Two years of planning came to fruition this June/July when I took a school group of 30 people comprised of 7 families (and some teachers) to visit the Galapagos region, along with the mountains and equatorial rainforest regions of Ecuador. Stayed for four nights in late August. Excursions were expertly planned and returned at the end of the end of the day to an oasis. Dinner each night by Sebastian was heaven and Katrine was fantastic at ensuring every detail for our day trips were covered. This place is special - just go.

We had two tents, family vacation, several days, with a dad, daughter 30, and son 13 who is especially interested in nature, birds, lizards, plants, and turtles. Most remarkable is that the staff were so 150% dedicated, meetings each returning guest each day at the entryway, offering cold fresh-squeezed blackberry juices and the like, and offering snorkeling gear, maps, advice,...
