This is a simple but clean hotel on the malecon close to the dock. all the restaurants and tour places are close by within walking distance. has a nice view looking out to wreck bay. A good choice if you are land based in San Cristobal. wifi only available in main area and not in rooms.

Our room on the top floor at Casa Opuntia was lovely. Floor to ceiling windows meant the room was flooded with light during the day, with sweeping views of the stunning water outside. Seals and maringe iguanas frolicked on the pier all day offering entertainment. Breakfast was filling and more than once we were joined by finches who were keen... More

We where first time travelers to Galapagos. Generally, we are mostly used to African and European accomondation standards. Taking this into consideration, we firstlDy where surprised by such an island style of accomondation. Very fast we came to know that this is South America and as such also an exceptional good standard. Growing into the lifestyle of Galapagos, we soon... More

We were on the ground level next to the restaurant and could see over the water. It was a nice / pleasant hotel ... everything was fine, but I wouldn't rave about it. The location at the end of the Malecon was very convenient as we walked up and down early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Wifi... More

Meals were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by size of room. I actually preferred this ground floor room to the balcony rooms. It was easy to access and due to the small guest size, privacy was not an issue even though the dining area was right outside the door. Meals are lovely with fresh squeezed juice, high quality ingredients,... More

The upper floor balcony rooms were extremely pretty and bright. Lots of storage and room. Breakfast was good but limited options each day. Staff were very friendly. Literally just a few feet from the shore and tons of sea lions. I am removing a star because it had very limited hot water for showers, but is still probably the nicest... More

The rooms were very simply but quite big and bright, and with a balcony and hamock. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was simple, but with delicious bread, good coffee and eggs served to your favor. Breakfast service was qite slow, as usual in Ecuador ;-) Best location: Close to harbour/pier with all the many sea lions, close to restaurants. Laundry service... More

The hotel was nicer than I had expected. With a 3 star rating I tend to keep expectations to a minimum, no need here. The rooms were clean and AC and WI-FI worked well. We were traveling as a group and had rooms 3, 4 and 5. All were basic but very clean. We enjoyed the common area balcony on... More

We stayed for one night. Our room was on the top floor with a small balcony and a great view over the ocean. The room was a bit dilapidated, but, clean and everything worked. The airconditioning was too noisy, but we slept well with it switched off. The free WiFi in the room worked, although very slow. The staff were... More

We stayed on the 3rd floor ocean view room (room on the left in picture). it was airy, simply but tastefully furnished, and relaxing, with large glass sliding doors to the porch where there was a hammock. The bathroom is small and clean with good ventilation (window present), but with delays in hot water (shower stall) and very poor lighting.... More
