We had this hotel in a land tour package. We had a room on the top floor with a terrace to sit and enjoy the bay and the sunsets. Easy to get to the main area of town. The breakfast for us and the couple traveling with us was inside the home next to the kitchen. Nice area but the... More

I was there at the end of February part of a touring group. We were 10 people in the room. I was left the last and given a room up on a second floor. To my surprise I was set in some share accommodation with a girl. You must know this is not a hotel is more like a hostel,... More

I stayed here for 4 days in 2010 and felt so at home. I'd lost the name and had to use google maps to find my way back. Im glad to see it has become so popular as Nelly and her family couldn't have been nicer. Wifi only worked in their living room then so I was always welcome to... More

Stayed here for the first two nights of our Galapagos trip. Nice garden downstairs, I stayed in a room with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Clean and comfy, I've never really stayed in hostels before so can't compare, but no complaints at all. Had breakfast on the second morning which was lovely. Great little rooftop area with hammocks as well.... More

Nelly Saltos is the owner of Casa de Nelly, a small villa in San Cristobal, quite close to the ocean. Nelly picked us up from the airport and even drove us back when we discovered we had forgotten a bag. The room (for 4 people) was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a small kitchen at our disposal (not very... More

We stayed for 3 nights as a couple. I had been in San Cristóbal earlier and wanted to stay close to the beach La Playa Mann, as well as close to the Malecón. For that it was perfect. The price is probably a bit high for backpackers, but affordable to most. Unfortunately, we were not offered breakfast. We did not... More

After a night in a cheap backpacker's, the family wanted more space and light. Found Nelly by walking by. Super-friendly lady. Got a beautiful 3-bed-room on the top terrace. AC worked well, never had any major water temp/pressure problems. Drinking water dispenser in room - great for filling bottles for excursions. Great value, nice views, good dining recommendations, easy to... More

I stayed here for two nights as part of a trip round the galapagos, no complaints at all!! After my luggage was lost by my airline, the lady who runs the place was so very kind, lending me some clothes and couldn't be more helpful. Would happily stay here again, and plan to in the future!

We can confidently say after having spent a month on Santa Cruz, Isobela and Cristobal, that good hotels, dining and value for money is virtually non-existent on any of the Galápagos Islands...BUT there are literally a handful of exceptions and Casa de Nelly is one of them. Our room was superb, excellent views, clean and windows on three sides that... More

We came to San Cristobal after a cruise, with no accommodations booked in advance - just with some hotel names written down. After looking at several places on the malecon, we went to check out Casa de Nelly, which stands practically on the "outskirts" of town (a few minutes' walk, anyway). Nelly showed us around. For the first night, the... More
