I can't say enough about how completely awesome this bed and breakfast is! From the second I inquired about reservations and things to see on the island Patricia (the wonderful kind owner) was so helpful and honest about things to see and do. I wasn't even sure if I was going to stay at her establishment but she didn't care... More

I highly recommend staying on a few islands rather than seeing the Galapagos by cruise ship. We stayed on three islands: Santa Cruz (the biggest), Isabela, and San Cristobal. While we had an ocean-front view from our hotel in Isabela, this hotel was just a bit cleaner, cooler, and had much hotter water in the shower. All the hotels on... More

We just returned from a two night night stay at Casa Iguana and it was a great experience. As noted by all the reviews, it is well designed, new and probably the best place to stay on the island. Service was also perfect and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. This is of course a bed and breakfast sort of... More

Not only is Casa Iguana in a perfect location (quiet and away from the smelly harbor) it is spotlessly clean and beautiful. What's more amazing is that Luis built the whole thing himself, including all the furniture! The breakfast was delicious (he even owns a coffee plantation and roasts his own delicious coffee), the shower and air conditioning worked perfectly,... More

This hotel gets our highest recommendation. The hotel itself is bright, beautifully designed and built and only a short 5 minute walk from the main street. The view of the sunset from the third floor terrace bar was wonderful. The rooms are all individually decorated with a Galapagos theme and are quiet, clean and spacious. The breakfasts were fresh, filling... More

Luis and Patricia designed and built this B and B. It is very tastefully put together, with a nice location. Luis prepared breakfast for us each morning and asked about specific dietary preferences. They were very helpful with tour recommendations and organizing taxis, etc. highly recommend. Wifi is available only in lobby.

My wife and I just returned from island hopping in the Galapagos and touring Quito and the Amazon. We spent two nights at Casa Iguana at the start of our Galapagos adventure and it was easily the best lodging we had on the Islands. While we enjoyed our other hotels, Casa Iguana is really special. Our hosts Patricia and Luis... More

We'd already been to Santa Cruz, Isabela, and Floreana when we arrived at San Cristobal. On Santa Cruz we were at the Safari Camp and it was outstanding. On Isabela we stayed 2 nights at Iguana Crossing. Also a pleasure if a bit more mundane. On San Cristobal we stayed at Casa Iguana Mar Y Sol. Because of Patricia and... More

My uncle and I stayed twice while accompanying my daughter who was teaching for two weeks on the island. Words cannot express how we feel about our stay with Patricia and Luis. We are like part of their family. Our room Fragata, was very clean and comfortable, the A/C works great. Clean well maintained bathroom and hand carved wood doors... More

Dear Cachoros (cubs/puppies), Thank you for the nice commentary.....but more than that; thank you for the fun you infused into the house with your presence. The island of San Cristobal was blessed in having the English teaching your daughter fulfilled in her volunteer capacity. And I am pleased to report that Luis survived the hilarity you and Uncle caused. Two... More

Hands Down the best Hotel in San Cristobal. The hotel is beautiful. Almost too nice for the area. the living area is all hand carved wood amenities by Luis and he makes some great pancakes and coffee in the morning. Patricia is a wonderful host and offered for us to leave some of our luggage while we went on a... More
