This hostel (hotel) was a gem. It had clean, if slightly small, rooms but is well equipped with a good quality (and highly desired) air-conditioner. The room came with a small fridge as well. The Wi-Fi was available on all floors of the hostel. There is a shared kitchen with a beautiful view as well as a rooftop area to... More

As above! This place is more 3star hotel than a hostel! We like to cook in, so the on site kitchen was right up our street, with a roof terrace to enjoy dinner with a sunset! Located right in the centre of town, above a post office & close to local shops. All round good experience.

For the price of this hotel it is an absolute luxury. We were on Santa Cruz where $25 dollars per person gets you a hot, dirty, insecure room with no appeal. Here for $25 you are spoiled with air-conditioning, security, spotless rooms, clean beds and great, private bathrooms. The thing that really makes this hotel as amazing as it is... More

When we 1st arrived we stayed on the beach - totally overpriced option. Moved here and were very pleased. Room crowded with 3 large double beds - 2 would have made more pleasant. Much of accommodation in this price on Isabella is older style. Modern, clean and will priced option. Small fridge in room was great. Breakfast was excellent -... More

The location is very good in the middle of town. It is a fifteen minute walk from the ferry dock. It is about two blocks in across from A small school. the owner, Carlos, who has a store and tour agency a block towards the water is very helpful and speaks excellent English. You will find him in his hammock.... More

I stayed here in August 2014. I suffer from motion sickness so for my trip to Galápagos I did not opt for a cruise, but instead to sleep in the islands and take day trips. This hostel was an excellent option, very clean, good towels, good breakfast (lots of fruit, coffee or tea, eggs, yogurt, fruit juice, bread), near to... More

My wife and I were traveling with friends, and were the only guests at the time (late December 2014). Obviously the hostel was quiet, but so was the neighborhood. So restful sleep was no problem. Staff was very helpful and friendly, though you may need some rudimentary Spanish language skills to communicate effectively. Breakfasts were on time for us to... More

Rincon de George, named after the sadly deceased but legendarily fecund and long-living giant tortoise, is a cheap and cheerful hotel right in the heart of a great little town. We came with a large group so I had a chance to peer into most of the rooms: they're all pretty much of a muchness, rather on the small side... More

My girlfriend and I had a great stay here for 3 nights at the end of March and into April. The hotel was very close to everything in town, and very clean and new. We were the only ones staying there those nights, so it was very quiet. We had a choice and for some reason I picked the small... More

Great hostal with everything you could need (mini fridge, television, somewhat spotty internet, friendly service, option of relatively inexpensive laundry service). Walk just 2 minutes to get to the few restaurants on the island and beautiful beaches. A little over a mile walk to the main pier where you can walk another 15 minutes to snorkeling or take boats out... More
