We have had the best diving experience, we were deciding between a live aboard and the “Dive triangle” with the Red Mangrove. A great decision!!! Diving was excellent, the diving, the crew, the guides and accommodation were great, and overall it exceeded our expectation. It was one of the best trips in our life. more

I loved Isabela! The sand on the beach is as soft as I've felt anywhere and the sea is very beautiful. Sierra Negra was a great experience though unfortunately the caldera was mostly fogged in. Not my favorite of the Red Mangrove properties, but really good if you're looking to hang out at the beach. We spent 3 nights here. The rooms are on the large side and has the basic amenities (including A/C), except no TV. The rooms are across the street from the office/lobby. I came to this hotel as part of the 5 night adventure program in the galapagos. In the morning we went to the Sierra Negra Crater and Volca Chico, wonderful places in the galapagos.
