This hotel turned out to be a totally unexpected chillout experience: Location & Property: the hotel is away from the city center but easy to access by bus or taxi, or a 20min walk. Located in what seems to be a bohemian area of Rijeka, its a simple property, but the location is superb...on the rocks overlooking beautiful Adriatic sea.... More

I have to say that Rijeka is a hidden gem! It is clean, modern and very liberal. There is a lovely central mall area called Korso and it is full of great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful and it is a great spot to stop when travelling from Italy. The hotel Jadran has an amazing... More

For any American visiting...this was ideal....great location to center city, and you can even walk to a "mall"...room was clean, comfy, and balcony had great view...sea was accessible at hotel, though I thought that area of hotel needed a facelift....nice bar area, and "Marko" at front desk was very helpful and spoke perfect English....breakfast which was included was very, very, good especially the "plum dumplings"...I would go... Guide by tripadvisor we went for a nights stay at this hotel. We must say we vere overwhelmed by the amazing view from the ROM, the balcony, the restaurant even the toilet. A thunderstorm made the experience even more exiting.

It was nice to stay here after staying a few nights in other older and supposedly high quality hotels in other parts of Croatia. The experience was great from check in to check out. Good location for accessing Rijeka and fantastic open sea view from the room. Only small problem was the room temperature was around 27 degrees (it was... More

Booked the hotel as a stop over for one night Travelling from Verona to Plitvice. Very pleasantly surprised by the ambience of the sea view room on the 5th floor with a balcony over the water. The staff are very friendly and helpful and their english perfect for one who understands effectively zero Croatian. Although close to the docks and... More

Good room with comfortable bed. Best part was the small balcony facing the sea where I spent ages reading a book, relaxing and enjoying the view. I was grateful though no one had come outside from the room next door as - even though the balconies are separated - it would've felt way too crowded. Hotel is located on a... More

My husband and I stayed here four nights on a trip to Croatia. We started out with one night, and kept adding another and another. It is just such a quiet haven at the end of a long day. At night you can fall asleep to the sounds of the water lapping against the shore and watch the lights across... More

Stayed in Fiume for 4 days, all nights in this hotel. What I like the most was a very nice view from our room, and very friendly staff. The rooms are also very clean. Food was good, hotel is very close to the city center. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel's private "beach access" was actually the best part about the hotel. On the first day, my wife and I walked up and down the road adjacent to the hotel looking for the best beach. The beaches are frequented by the locals, and are simply jam packed without any cover from the sun. In any case, the water was... More
