This hotel was charming, beautiful room with balcony. Many, many french windows and doors. located on the adriatic, close to great restaurants, opera house, charming romantic walks and shopping. My husband and I spent three nights here on a tour. The hotel is very charming and elegant to look at, but we were disappointed in our room and food as well as the restaurant service. The room was clean and adequate but unfortunately extremely hot. We were told that the AC was not on yet as it was early... More

We have stayed at Hotel Bristol at the mid June and this was second stay in this beautiful hotel with so polite staff. We were in Junior Suite on third floor, sea side and on the main street. Sound isolations is very good and we couldn't hear a lot of traffic from outside and suite is wide and clean and... More

This 4star hotel was built in 1906 but has been tastefully renovated to a high standard and is worthy of a 4 star rating. The rooms are comfortable with nice bedding and the bathroom is well laid out and functional. Thankfully the windows can be opened as the air con is set too high and the rooms are overheated and... We arrived using SatNav down vatious small lanes so were surprised when we arrived at the impressive building of the Horel Bristol. It had all the old world splendour of the turn of the century "Belle Epoch", chandeliers in the dining room, marble floors and generously sized rooms. The staff were friendly, the only problem being that the car park... More

Stayed for two nights in this underrated area of Croatia. The Bristol and many other fine old buildings were constructed in the 19th century heyday of the Austria- Hungarian Empire. Visually very attractive in a splendid location. The Bristol is centrally located and has been modernised to a good standard. We had a room towards the back and whilst not... More

In May we spent a couple of days in beautiful Lovran. This place is one of the most grandiose town within others in the region, situated right beside of the Adriatic sea, Kvarner bay. The promenade is the best and most popular possibility for a refreshing walk. This pathway is approximately 10km in full-length and goes along the seashore by... More

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights during a tour of Croatia in March 2014. I can't speak on the pricing considering it was part of a package but it was definitely upscale. The hotel had a beautiful marble floor lobby and the staff was friendly enough. I believe the language barrier kept some of them from reaching... More

Hotel Bristol is very charming and full of old world elegance. The front desk staff was polite and helpful even though some had difficulties communicating in English. There's an additional convenience of having a bank on the same block with an external ATM. Breakfast was delicious and the food was quite unique but the staff was a little too assertive... More
