We stayed in the Bristol which were delightful. The views are stunning, room comfortable and breakfasts full of choices. We LOVED staying here. The place is super relaxing even though just in the centre and close to promenade and beach area. If you love quality, bang for your buck and a simply superb Bristol in Opatija.

We stayed only two days here as part of a Croatian tour. Hotel is charming and right on the main street, close to everything. All buildings are beautiful! The buffet breakfasts were amazing - you want for nothing! Our room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Opatija is so beautiful and welcoming. Only one problem - we would have loved... More

My husband and I spent three nights here on a tour. The hotel is very charming and elegant to look at, but we were disappointed in our room and food as well as the restaurant service. The room was clean and adequate but unfortunately extremely hot. We were told that the AC was not on yet as it was early... More

This 4star hotel was built in 1906 but has been tastefully renovated to a high standard and is worthy of a 4 star rating. The rooms are comfortable with nice bedding and the bathroom is well laid out and functional. Thankfully the windows can be opened as the air con is set too high and the rooms are overheated and... We arrived using SatNav down vatious small lanes so were surprised when we arrived at the impressive building of the Horel Bristol. It had all the old world splendour of the turn of the century "Belle Epoch", chandeliers in the dining room, marble floors and generously sized rooms. The staff were friendly, the only problem being that the car park... More

Stayed for two nights in this underrated area of Croatia. The Bristol and many other fine old buildings were constructed in the 19th century heyday of the Austria- Hungarian Empire. Visually very attractive in a splendid location. The Bristol is centrally located and has been modernised to a good standard. We had a room towards the back and whilst not... More
