Location not dissimilar from most hotels in this overrated resort. The exception being that most rooms offer a view of the sea. The 4* level is a far way from being reached and improvements in management, service, cleanliness and hospitality are necessary. The price level is scraping the distinction of being usury as the various added charges make up 7%... More

We stayed one night in the superior twin room with sea view at the hotel in August and found the hotel offered good modern, clean and spacious rooms. The room had a balcony with an automatic retractable awning looking over the Admiral Marina and offering stunning views of the Adriatic. The bathroom was clean and modern. The room had free... More

It was a lovely experience. I had some seminar in Opatija as well Rijeka and decided to stay in this hotel. Luckily I was right because it was cozy and staff was very professional and kind. I had a very good sleep all the time I was staying in hotel. I was for 5 days and I do not regret... More

We stayed an extended weekend at this hotel - luckily not longer. We booked it online and everything looked nice and clean and new and renovated in the online pictures. Having been there I wonder where the online pictures stem from…?! By the way, while in Opatija we checked a couple of other Remisens hotels and had the same feeling... More

I like the hotel, it has a good location, a couple of walks away from the hussle and bussle, an outdoor and indoor pool. The food was amazing (buffet breakfast and dinner with a lot of varities, also for vegetarians, even though I'm not). I didn't like the partial view over the marina, despite it was said we will get... More

This is one of the many hotels on the beachwalk in Opatija. Same good location. But this is not a good hotel. This hotel is dirty. There was pubic hair in the bathroom and dust all over the place (see photos). Room smelled of sweating. Disgusting. Materials are of the two star hotel. Towels are old, thin and hard. Staff... More

We had originally made reservations at the Villa Amalia, which, as it turns out, was not open for business when we arrived. An e-mail informing us thusly would have been appreciated. I drove into the parking lot of the Hotel Kvarner where construction was clearly on-going and fortunately that was a lady inside who was able to contact someone who... More

On our arrival given excellent customer service by the man that was obviously in charge, a Mr. Bruno who ensured our every request was fulfilled. He was extremely helpful with his knowledge of English and ability to communicate that we were instructed how to get to and find popular with locals restaurants in out of the way places, yet easy... Very nice hotel, located by the cost, so when you go out of the hotel you are in front of the sea and you can take a walk near the sea on a beautifull road which they said is 30km long (i didnt have enough time to explore everything so I walk only 30min in one direction and the view... More

Built decades ago, the hotel was just renovated and we've been expecting something pleasant. Welnes and sauna have not worked. Wi - fi in the room functioned. Room on the third floor was nice with a large balcony and a masonry dam with the adjacent room. Catastrophe is completely non-functional bathroom. Console toilet bowl is too low and you have... More
