We drove from Venice and arrived late in Opatija to stay the night while on the way to Dubrovnik. Our first stop was Hotel Bristol to find the prices outrageous for a quick stopover. Our next on the list was Hotel Galeb.

The host at Hotel Galeb was extremely helpful and we were able to park our car next to the front entrance. Our room was very clean and spacious. We also had FREE wifi. Our room included breakfast which was plentiful, full of meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, yogurt and more.

We highly recommend this hotel for your stay. The hotel is located at the waterfront and easy access to the town center. We enjoyed our 2 hour walk the next morning right from our hotel and didn't need our car. more

An excellent choice for your stay in Opatija. The hotel is extremely clean and the accommodations are wonderful. We did not have reservations when we arrived in Opatija, and had a chance to check out several hotels. They were either too expensive, like the Kvarner, or run down and not too clean. We had 2 suites, and they were stunning! French doors, floor to ceiling, a kitchenette, plenty of sleeping space.

The location is excellent. The rooms facing the water have a nice little balcony to enjoy your morning kava. And in the evening, you're right in the middle of the action.

I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Opatija!
