Hotel is great! We got a small room at the top of the hotel with the view at the sea. Room is small, but very clean. Bathroom is also very clean. Pool had a 36 degrees sea hot water. One bad thing is that was not aircondition in our room.

1) Location: on the path to Lovran, 400m from the beach of Opatija 2) Sea view: to the port side. Nice view. "Zero Ground" with nice balcony. Definitely with sea view. Otherwise you'll get a busy street with high traffic. 3) Restaurant: good. 4) Parking for the cars: very few. All places are used, even out-of season time. No parking... More

Here you get value for money. The best you can get for that small amount of Money. The place is family friendly and location is that great that you dont need a car at all. If you want to see the near place of Rijeka town, you can get there by bus for 2 euros. They have pool, beach is... More

Both my wife and I had stayed in Rovinj last year and visited Red Island for the day and we decided then to come back this year but to stay at Hotel Istra. It proved to be a very good choice. We were upgraded to a Superior Room on arrival which had a sea view with the mainland. Do not... More

Other people have commented on the value of this hotel, but at €125 in total for one night I cannot agree. The halls and room had new carpet, which is nice, but should it be the same hard wearing carpet in your room? At least that was clean and new. The curtains have been there since the fall of Tito... We stayed here as a family for the second time in July this year. We were not disappointed. The hotel is clean and fresh. The location is beautiful, with fabulous sunsets and it adds to the holiday experience being on an island and needing to catch the hotel boat to visit Rovinj and the mainland. During our last stay we... More

We were staying there for the weekend with breakfast and dinner included. The rooms are small but cosy, the food is good for my taste, there's a lot to choose from and the drinks are included in the meal which is a big plus. The location is excellent for a walk to the city centre in the evening. The pool... More

We stayed in the hotel Istra 14 days ago, booked thru booking.com. We travel only for few days, to have a relaxed weekend by the sea. The hotel is old but clean. We had a room with balcony on top floor with a nice view to the open sea. Breakfast choice is very poor, the tables are not clean, the... More

Rooms, reception, pool, everything. On pictures seemed more better. The hotel is near centre but in a quite area. The stuff was not so helpful. In the room was no safe, no mini bar, ergo no cold drinks in 30°. Parking is terrible, the hotel has just a few parking place, the others has to on the street, you must... More
