We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves in this hotel. The service was very good, the room was fine, but the location was to die for. Overlooking the sparkling blue sea and bays, it literally takes your breath away. It's a 15 minute walk from the centre of town, but there is a brilliant coastal pathway (that goes... More

Not ultimate luxury but wonderful ambiance. An old villa and therefore no elevators and there are many stairs but oh, so worth it. The staff was helpful and gracious. The rooms were not large and the second floor rooms had a sloping ceiling so beware of bumping your head. We ate dinner on the terrace and the food and service... More

Greatly located Pension with great quality of served food in restaurant, but poor rooms and not very kind personell. If you are not german speaking, you have to wait or will be overseen. My second visit here was a complete disaster and i will never accomodate myself in this pension.

The villa from outside looks amazing, the situation is really good. The reception is nice as well. But once you go to your room, even more if you are hosted in atic rooms, you can see that they are really basic for the price you have to pay. Totally overpriced. Rooms are really old and they need a big reform.... More

Wonderful place to stay by the sea, a wiff of glamorous times gone by. Perfect views, very, very nice staff. Comfortable rooms. Exquisite five course gourmet dinner. Very nice walkway along the sea. Very good value for money. Would love to come back.

I felt like i was walking into a grand home in Austria!!! What a lovely welcoming place. We had the Junior Suite with magnificent ocean views, Very spacious and beautifully detailed down to robe and slippers. The staff couldn't have been more gracious and accomodating. We had a lovely dinner in their dining room the night we arrived. Only the... More

This is a small hotel, with only about 15 rooms. The building is around 100 years old. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay enjoyable. A bit of a walk to the centre of Opatija, but a great view. There is a private landing at the seaside, which was excellent. It is... More

We had the Presidential Suite... Nice room, beautiful view! Loved the swimming deck, although we could have used a pool at times. Were woken up by renovations taking place to the restaurant downstairs at 7:30 AM... Can't they schedule the workers to come later in the day? Breakfast was nothing spectacular, parking tight but adequate... There was a wedding party... More

Stayed at the Villa for 4 nights during my brother's wedding (which was held at this hotel). The staff are the most accommodating, warm, welcoming people we have encountered at a hotel. The charm of the villa, with it's furnishings and details is wonderful. The wedding was beautiful and a big thank you to all the staff for doing such... More

We stayed for one rainy night at the Villa Ariston, so we weren't able to spend much time outdoors . The rooms we had on the top floor were fairly basic and parking was tight, but the grounds were beautiful when we were able to get out the next morning. We had an enjoyable walk, about 15 minutes into town,... More
