Sofitel is the best hotel in Abidjan. We were extremely satisfied with the overall experience, from the swift checking in, welcome drinks, constant catering to our needs... We stayed in for two weeks and didn't encounter any single disappointment throughout our stay. The staff are very nice and the rooms lavishly furnished. Thank you for a great stay

The beds are amazing , I will definitely give them that. The staff are polite and helpful and the overall experience is good def better than the other alternatives in Abidjan. The only two negatives of Sofitel for a business traveler is the poor quality of wifi at times and the distance of the hotel form the Plateau area where... More

so classy and nice, best Hotel ever in Abidjan. so in love with those pure white beds and the luxurious all gold like elevators. The small problem is the price of food that is too expensive. i could spend my whole life there

Stayed here for a few days on business. Wifi was in and out, constantly losing connection. Reservation said breakfast included but they tried to charge me. They said they don't honor the terms given by booking agencies, such as Trip Advisor (?)! I'll try a different hotel next time.

Not planning to stay in this hotel originally, but as my stay in Novotel was so bad (too much noise due to reconstruction everywhere in the hotel), i moved to Sofitel. Although a bit above my standard budget, this hotel is excellent, very nice rooms, comfy matresses, perfect service everywhere. One minor negative point is the breakfast and the area,... More

The best thing about the hotel was the pool area. Food was not brilliant even in restaurant on the top floor which could do with more imaginative decor. The most irritating aspect was the inept handling of my complaints of firstly an unannounced entry of my room at 9 am in the morning by "room" service and not house keeping.... More

The worst so called 5-star hotel ever. This is the only hotel I know where staff can come into your room unannounced (even late at night, when you are not in the room), and help themselves to your things, including your personal alcoholic beverage. Tiny room, tiny toilet, which is separate from the bathroom. The hotel declares on a card... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for posting your comments about your recent stay with us. We feel sad that, despite our discussions, you make public what we consider to be a private matter. You claim that people entered unannounced info your room. Our HK team usually announce itself before entering any room in the hotel. If it was not the case,... More

It may be the best hotel in the city for cleanliness, modernization, food, and of course there wonderful pool area, but the location is a bit off the beaten path. For some, that's good, for others that don't like to take a taxi everywhere - maybe not so good. Due to the nature of the hotel, everything is a bit... More

Remodeled with a great African theme. Nice lobby and great pool. Room very comfortable and modern. King room had lots of space. Could use better lighting near desk area. Restaurant on lower level was very good for breakfast. Made to order omelette and crepes. Would return

Hotel Ivoire's spot on perched on one of Abidjan's little lagunas is very impressive, as is the hotel lobby and pool area. The least expensive rooms are a bit small, though the beds and showers are incredibly comfortable and relaxing. All in all - if you're looking for top of the line hotel experience and willing to pay for it,... More
