Stayed one week and expected 4 star as advertised, but less than 2 by myself. Run down place, old, shabby, poor service and waiter in restaurant ripped me off making me pay twice the bill. Wifi intermittent

I have stayed here 4 times this year always the same. Nobody seems to speak english its akward and stressfull to get anything done. Staff dont seem to be trained take ages to check in. The lady bereau de change will rob you. Calculate all money changed. The restaraunt staff are smelly, stinky animals. I have actually vomited because of... More

First of all we need to consider that Abidjan was in the middle of a civil war a few years back. Novotel is under reconstruction so, in any areas, you will find yourself in the middle of a construction site. I was in one of the refurbished rooms and this makes the rating. The room was newly decorated, in good... More

If you would like to make the mistake of your life, just go there. Away from bad cleanliness, terrible service and noise. Worst management and staff. If you ever complain they will simply ask you to f.off. Price is like a 5 star hotel in dubai. But you will not get 10% good service of that in return.

The hotel looks ok, but is undergoing serious refurbishments during this time. As the construction is everywhere ongoing in parallel, there is no quiet area during the day. I stayed only short time, cancelled my booking and moved to Sofitel... A pity that they keep the hotel open during this renovation.

Novotel Abidjan is value for money in terms of full access to Plateau for conducting business meetings, good staff, good amenities and part of the Accor group. The downside is dated rooms, intermittent wifi in rooms and average food although these negatives are being put right in the upgrade. Overall a good hotel for business.

Terrible hotel for the price paid. Currently extremely shabby and cleanliness is poor. The hotel is in the process of being renovated and resembles a building site. We were woken each morning before 8 by loud banging which persisted all day. The front desk manager (Mr Pascal) was exceptionally rude when we complained about the noise and made no effort... More

Hotel is in a process of being renovated. Thanks God. 2nd stay here and as dirty rooms the second time as the first! I was well treated in the restaurant, but the front staff lacked service. As simple smile, eye contact or thank you for staying would do the trick. Easier to get there (through the bridge) than previously. With... More

Shabby, room not very clean, aircon not controllable. Breakfast buffet good though. Do Novotel not audit their hotels to ensure consistent standards? Staff pleasant. Convenient location for business. Why write 200 words when I have said it all!
