Recommend the place 100%, close to all places. Good value, net, food, private, rooms are spacious. Walking distance to most things , businesses. When on business trips, you need a place that has most and is low key. This is such a place .

Le Griffon is located in II Plateau on the busiest street of Rue de Jardin convenient if you are catching taxis. The rooms are Spartan but decent. I just spent a week at La Licorne for business. It is no frills but safe, clean, comfortable enough, and with decent service. The quality of food for breakfast and dinner was good. The rooms are alright, but a bit stuffy. My room had only tiny windows. The real bad thing: The whole place smells from the old dog that hangs out everywhere as well as from cat's pee. Its small, it's not "flash" but it's got great decor, it's got great value and you always feel welcome. Definitely somewhere I feel comfortable and the balance of great food and welcoming hosts keepsake coming back.
