I've just returned from a long weekend stay at the Blue Bay Inn and I cannot wait to return again. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The town is small but quaint. There are many eating options within walking distances, in addition to two stellar restaurants located on the hotel property. Shop owners along the First Ave. were all... More

The Blue Bay Inn was just perfect. We were sorry we didn't have more time to spend relaxing in our beautiful suite. In the lobby Ice water was always available and in the morning coffee service . The Copper Canyon restaurant is our friends favorite but we were too busy to partake. I love the proximity to the Ferry from... More

Came back for another visit and enjoyed a room with king and clean bathroom, the only downside to this visit was my view was out the back lot but I was there really to enjoy some time w friends and sleep comfortably before the sandy hook iron girl triathalon. Enjoyed yummy margaritas in the lounge and my friends enjoyed some... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night after attending a wedding in the area. The room was quite small and the bathroom was just ok with a makeshift shower. Cleanliness was spotty and the sheets had a strange odor. We paid over $250 for the room so we were disappointed. It is located in a small village near... More

Atlantic Highlands, located in New Jersey south of New York City, is a small waterfront town that offers fast ferry service into downtown NYC. It is also host to a small but cute downtown area that leads to a large municipal marina and yacht club. We recently stayed at the Blue Bay Inn because it was very convenient to the... More

nice local place, great alternative to a chain hotel, try Copper Canyon next door for dinner and drinks, I think owned by same people. Only stayed one night. Located on the main street in Atlantic Highlands

We found atlantic highlands in the autumn to be stunning. Bight blue skies against autumn leaves, beautiful marina and brightly painted wooden houses all decorated for Halloween. Blue bay inn is situated on the Main Street and close to the marina, beach and ferry to Manhattan. We stayed in a lovely spacious room with great, what feels like, feather beds.... More

Stayed recently with my brother..we needed to be in town for family business. We both grew up in the area and now live in other states. Since we were only staying 2 nights,it was very nice to stay somewhere clean quiet and close to where we needed to be. All the staff was GREAT!!!

A great hotel with lovely, attentive staff. The hotel was clean, comfortable, walkable to everything and had restaurants and a wonderful bar next door. There are fishing charters within waking distance, high speed ferry to Manhattan and we loved it. The only reason I don't give five stars is because I do think it is a bit overpriced for a... More

My husband and I went hunting for a good hotel near the beaches and we found this one. It's great!! Some reviewers have mentioned that for the price, amenities should be higher, but the reality is that Blue Bay is charging market rates for the shore during the summer. The front desk was helpful and flexible, allowing us to store... More
