This is certainly not your cookie cutter type motel. Nor is it a cutesy B&B. I have never been to Europe, but I guess in my mind this is the type of hotel I would expect there. My wife and I had the standard room which was not huge, but comfortable with a queen bed, two chairs, leg rest, desk... More

We stayed for one night after a concert in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony- about 25 minutes away. It was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The inn is wheelchair accessible (I am a wheelchair user). Good location with a choice of restaurants nearby. No vital complaints, only that our room had the old box... More

Wonderfully enjoyable and convenient location for a weekend escape from NYC. We were warmly greeted upon check-in, and discovered our room was beautifully decorated and spacious. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable with soft, high-quality linens. Hugely important to us: our room was quiet and peaceful so we slept very well. We had lunch at a new restaurant called the... More

The Blue Bay is, from the outside, a very nice hotel in the middle of Atlantic Highlands on the main street. The woman at the reception (who I believe is the manager) was strikingly unfriendly and even gave incorrect instructions to the municipal parking lot. No one offered to help with our luggage, and worse, other employees were pushing through... More

This is a strange little hotel on a very noisy street with really no features that would make one want to return. Street noise til 2 am, inadequate blinds so light filling the room from streetlights, no parking, cheapest hairdryer you can find, no place to get breakfast Room also very strange with a large area that looked like an... My wife and I stayed for one night due to a issue with our reservation at another place we had booked for the weekend. Blue Bay Inn accommodated us last minute giving us a one night stay in a King room. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very nice and clean. The front desk was very helpful was... More

I came back to Atlantic Highlands for a high school reunion, determined to be 'close' to all the activities of the weekend... staying at the Blue Bay Inn was expensive and luxurious, but so nice to be home... not a great view out the back window, but for me it only brought back memories of walking down side streets. A... More

We stayed at this hotel when we went to visit a friend. It was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were beautiful. We walked everywhere we went. Shops and restaurants were close by. The room was very quiet and we had everything we needed for a wonderful visit.

We stayed here for a wedding. It's a quaint little town that has great restaurants, ferry service to New York and water views of the Sandy Hook Bay with NYC in the distance, Sandy Hook beaches just to the south, and some historical sites as well, like Twin Lights. You can also go on a party fishing boat to try... More

We were visiting family for Thanksgiving and stayed here just a few miles from our family. While it was abit interesting trying to contact them(had to call the restaurant to get a message to Inn) I believe still from Sandy issues. They did call back quickly. We were taking a red eye from west coast to Newark and requested early check... More
