Booked our stay through Expedia. Arrived and was told "we don't have that type of room here". Took over an hour to get that straight, only to arrive at our room to find one bed, not the two queens we paid for. No sheets on the pull-out sofa bed and no extra blankets anywhere. Was told by housekeeping it would... More

place is clean but deserted, most desks and stores and restaurants are closed, and the pool, fitness and spa are also closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some of the staff were not very friendly....., can't complain about the price (full suite with Jacuzzi for under 150 tax included).

Very reasonable only a hundred a night for suite but we hardly spent time at the resort, as most of the restaurants are closed. As one other reviewer said it is a ghostown. Definitely after visiting Ceasars and Borgota they are the places to stay and happening!!! I was pretty upset that the website for Taj says nothing about most... More

We have been coming to the Taj for almost 10 years for an industry trade show and although the Taj has long since tarnished from its former glory, everything worked and the staff service kept us coming back. This last trip was nightmare! Rooms without hot water, elevators not working, no restaurants open, the BAR was closed Monday-Friday!!! Nowhere to... More

Visited Mid-January for a friend's birthday. Unfortunately because of all the press it was a ghost town. But, good news is no lines to get in the hotel, lots of open space at the tables and easy dinner reservations. It is still The Taj. Mr. Icahn has plans and it will return to its glory. Enjoy it while you can... More

Trump Taj Mahal is our favorite get away! For the last 4 years, we've stayed in the Grand Suite and just love it! Yes, the décor could be updated (not if you're sinking tho) and the rooms are not even close to being perfect, but they are always clean and the staff are always nice to us. We bring food... More

There was a few inches of snow forecast for my area, so we decided to get away for the night. Through TripAdvisor, I got a great deal at the Taj. Based on the recommendation on TripAdvisor - I booked the a room in the Chairman's Tower. We checked in about 9:30 PM. There was a line, but it moved. The... More

We stayed at this hotel for just one night in December. We had one suite and one double room. The double room was In the Chairman Tower and looked newly renovated. It had a big bathroom and a very nice view to the ocean. The second room was the Grand Suite which was really big but the furniture and the... More

My cousin and I stayed here for one night on a stopover trip to NJ last weekend. This hotel has declined quickly over the past two years when I was last there. We had a side view of the ocean which was fine due to the cold temperature and we did not spend much time in the room. It is... More

Turned out to be a nice three day getaway . Hotel is right on the boardwalk - very convenient . Check in time was 1 pm . Ocean view from 42nd floor room was pretty amazing . Room spacious and clean . Comfy bed . Room service menu very extensive , didn't take advantage of it but looked good .... More
