This may not be as new as others but it's a fun stay and they have The House of Blues! Great music every night. Rooms are average but clean restaurants are pretty good. The gaming floor has smoking section that is far enough away. This is perfect for a weekend stay!

This casino hotel runs frequent specials to attract guests during non-peak seasons. Even if a casino setting is not what you are looking for, the Showboat provides direct access to beach and boardwalk where entertainment and recreation abound. Good restaurants on site. The guestroom bath was modern and spotless, the bed was perfectly clean and comfortable. The hotel felt safe... More

We stayed 4/18 to 4/20. Arrived Friday around 3:30pm...valet was quick and pleasant. small line to wait in to get checked in. Assigned to 1438 in Orleans tower...end of hall like we wanted for quiet. Room was very clean, armoire showing a bit of wear...bed very comfortable and bath was huge with separate room for toilet. We had a view... More

Got a ridiculously low rate for Saturday. I guess the day before Easter. Paid. $10 for any early check in. Room on 14th floor with nice views. On smoking floor but room nor hallways did not smell of smoke. Friendly staff and nice New Orleans theme. No flat screen in room. Furniture a bit worm but big with King bed,... More

My Mom and I had a girls weekend at The Showboat on Atlantic City and we had a great time. Check-in was quick and I found the people who worked at check-in and other employees who I encountered were very pleasant and professional. The place is huge. Each casino hotel is built around a theme. Showboat's theme is New Orleans... More

We stayed in the New Orleans tower Thursday through Saturday. Our room had two queen beds with a lighthouse and side ocean view. Room was clean and we'll appointed. Check in and check out was quick and seamless. Casino and hotel staff were friendly. Security was very prominent in the casino area. No complaints. This was my second visit and... More

Just stayed here last night, 4/13/14, and I'll just say if it wasn't a comp room I wouldn't have stayed. Check in line was ridiculously long. At first only 3 people were manning the front desk... At check in! Then some more folks came out the back which made the line go faster. Now they don't tell you about the... More

We spent three nights here during the week. Parking was in the self park area, covered parking for $5.00 per day, you take the elevator down to the lobby area. The hotel complex takes in the better part of a block. Check-in was flawless and very quick. Our room was in the Bourbon tower which is on the Boardwalk. Great... More

I wasn't going to stay here, because a number of reviews were unfavorable; however, a close friend stayed here about 2 months ago, and raved about the room and her overall experience. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing like hers. My room was very outdated (unlike her recently renovated room). Overall, the room was dingy, with shabby furniture. As others have... More
