Because I don't get how so many people enjoy coming to the Showboat(including myself) for concerts and games,etc. and have to stay in rooms with dirty carpets and furniture that looks like a hungry animal has mistaken it for a piece of raw meat. We had 2 rooms for 4 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The only thing that I didnt like was the fact that it was so far from most of the stores and restaurants. Also, the only casino that we didnt see anyone win anything worth while. more

Showboat was clean with very informative staff. FYI - go to the hotel's web site to book the best price. For a cheap place to eat on the boardwalk try Bill's. For a great Italian dinner try Angelo's on 2300 Fairmount Ave by taxi. Its sooooo worth the trip. more

I should have known I was in trouble the minute I entered that filthy parking garage. The spaces are painted too closely together. On average 2 cars fit in 3 spaces.
