The Borgata is a great casino for fun, food and atmosphere in AC. It is similar to some of the casinos in Vegas although I would not rank it up there with the likes of the Venetian or some of the other higher-end spots there. Spent two nights at the Borgata, 4/23 and 4/24. First trip to Atlantic City. Checked in early (1230) with no problems, standard (King bed) room was very clean and quite large. The hotel itself was impressive. Nice restaurants, lots of options for gambling, and overall very pretty. However, the hotel housekeeping wasn't so great. The Borgata was not only a world class casino but the spa was one of the best that i have ever experienced. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Guests are permitted to relax in the "Living Room" which is a real plus for weary casino players. The pool area is very nice with real palm trees spead all about it.... more

I would recommend not setting your expectations too high. While Borgata is much nicer than most- if not all- of the other Atlantic City hotel casinos, it's not up to five-star standards.
