Stayed one night here and was less than impressed. We arrived in the middle of a very heavy thunderstorm, so were more or less stuck in the hotel all evening as the weather was so bad. The casino floor was OK. Went to the 70's disco which was pretty rubbish and not worth the entrance fee - we had a... more

We were looking for a sort-of last minute deal for the long weekend (labor day). While all other hotels were twice the price, we got a double bed for $130 at this place. We didnt have high expectations as we found it cheap.. But when we got there, we were pleasantly surprised. The place is right on the boardwalk, just... more

I stayed in the ocean tower overnite this past weekend. I knew I was in the older of the (2) buildings because of the musty smell in the hallways. I don't mind staying in an old hotel provided that it is clean and well-kept, both qualities lacking in this location. The carpet and the chair in my room were disgustingly... more

The check-in process was a nightmare. I booked and confirmed a 2 doublebed room through expedia but once we got there the rude mexican girl at the front desk said rooms aren't "confirmed". All reservations are considered "requests" and may not be filled. Hmm...that's funny because expedia CONFIRMED my 2 doublebed room. The girl then told us the best she... more

I was quite taken by the size of the room in the newly renovated tower. I was particularly impressed with the size of the bathroom--a double sink and a vanity plus a walk-in shower big enough for my husband and me "to conserve water." The room was exceedingly spacious considering that we paid under $100 including taxes (weekday rates). The... more

This was the first time we had been to AC, and after reading other reviews, we weren't quite sure what to expect. We got there around 1pm and were able to check in right away. Once we got to the room we realized that we were in a corner room facing the rooftop. We called the front desk and they... more

The thing to realize about this hotel is that it has 2 towers. The older, original tower, and the newer tower built only a few years ago. The fact that I know the difference will be no surprise once I tell you that we were given the older tower after booking on Expedia (so getting the older tower was no... more

I gave this two stars because there were some parts of the hotel that were outstanding and some that were poor. We booked the room through Hotels.com and paid $119 plus tax for a Friday night, The good. The hotel is great. Its an old hotel, but the rooms are clean and large, the only thing that they are missing... more

We came here as part of a trip to New York. The hotel was nicely situated but the room just seemed to lack any kind of personality. Everything was nice enough but there didn't seem to be any attempt to be any more than that. I liked the way a number of the casino hotels were linked, particularly after straying... more

This was our first stay in Atlantic City, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the Hotel exactly as it was described on the interntet at Orbitz site. The room was on the 3rd floor of the recently renovated Rendezvous Tower. The Ocean Tower is still quite old and in serious need of the renovation. The room was big, quiet,... more
