My boyfriend and I stayed at Chelsea May 8-10 on the Annex side. I got stuck in the elevator the first night for maybe 15 minutes. When I used the intercom on the elevator to call the front desk they could not hear what I was saying because there was a very loud siren noise as I spoke drowning me... More

Stayed there with my husband May 16th didn't want to spend a lot of money on the room, because we spend most of the time doing things outside. Hotel was old , not updated but was clean, bed was comfortable and sheets were clean and fresh. If your looking for perfection you will spend more money and should stay at... More

This was/is the worst hotel motel that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were old and the walls were cracking, paint chipping And furniture was old and scratched up. TV didn't work and the hallways were dark and gloomy. I would not recommend this place to a homeless person.

Bad room = Bad Review Stayed here 1 night attending a convention down the street. First this was a toss between Bates motel and Animal House. Duct tape on the carpet, hallway old paint,1 bar of soap for bathroom sink and shower( I thought that was really funny)mini bar space empty. Hotel rundown needs some immediate repairs. There were party... More

Found this location last-minute on booking.com. Needed a room to sleep one night while there for wrestling state championship tournament. The price was good so we booked it. 2 queen room for $99 last-minute. Check-in was a bit chaotic, they could not find the reservation despite the fact i had the email confirmation number. No big deal, we waited 10... More

I stayed at the Chelsea in 2009 and thought it was a lovely place - cool decor, pleasant room, nicely appointed...fast forward 6 years and I decided to stay there again, not realizing I booked something called "The Annex." Well, I really can't figure out why a hotel like the Chelsea would associate with and lend its name to the... More

I booked through Priceline and was initially given a room on the 3rd floor of the Annex. I had no idea what the Annex was/is but apparently it's the skidrow of the Chelsea hotel. Complete with seedy red sign, dismal elevator, scuffed walls, a complimentary rotten fish smell and a room straight out of a homeless shelter. W..T../F?! I called... More

I have never in my life experienced a more horrid hotel than The Chelsea Annex. Obviously the owners must have died or are unaware that they still own this wretched heap of infectious waste. I stayed one Saturday in February; it was cheap, but lots of rooms in AC are cheap in the winter, so I booked it. The lobby... More

So I booked this room before looking at the reviews. Honestly, your opinion is all going to vary upon your expectations. Almost everything that everyone wrote was true. The paper states 2 queen beds, which were actually full beds. The beds were probably the best thing in the room. The dresser drawers do continue to open, so there may also... More
