The elevators are slow, which is particularly painful on checkout days.. But, we have been there about 5 times and are going again this week. We love the location....we have two kids 11 and 9 (now) and enjoy the small beaches on the north end of the island, the maritime museum and aquirium, the lighthouse, the two resturants on the... more

This (timeshare) hotel is not in the casino area but a very pleasant 15 minute walk. They offer a free mini van shuttle - on weekends it leaves every hour - weekdays every 2 hours - if the van is full (18 people) you wait for the next or find your own transportation. Walking was the best way around for... more

Pros: Large rooms, in-room kitchen area, great city & ocean views, beautiful view from the gym, located on the boardwalk and about a mile from the center of downtown. Cons: Slow elevators, game room is taken over by unsupervised children, pool water seems a little murky, rooms in need of some updating, (very) unappealing surrounding neighborhood. Overall, though I took... more

hotel is severely outdated; heating/cooling system from the 50's, thrift shop furnishings, rock hard bed. The only good parts seemed to be the sales center, pushing those timeshares. I traded my unit in Myrlte Beach to come here, and I felt like I had gone from a Sheraton to a High-rise Motel 6. The concierge was not knowledgeable or helpful,... more

What we expect? I've read lots of reviews about hotel rooms.About Flag Ship too. We've stayed there for Fri.Sat. and let me just write that it actually depends what you expect from particular hotel. You are on the boardwalk, you have an ocean view(some rooms not open ocean but still)and you have to add city view(casinos) which is pretty amazing(as for NJ)... more

I am writing this review to warn people of the one thing I did not enjoy. The moment you check in you are told about a $100 security deposit. I found this practice to be very dishonest. This deposit should be announced at the time of booking the room. Besides my upset with the deposit, I did not enjoy the... more

The Flagship Resort rooms are very standard. As someone on here stated the elevators are too slow. I noticed the lower floors hallways (& rooms) were more updated I'm assuming these floors are for the Timeshare Owners. While the upper floors are for regular guests and are in need of being updated and as well as the rooms. The rooms... more

We just got back from a 7 day stay at the Flagship. We had a suite on the 19th floor & had a terrific view!! We were very happy with our rooms, and the service was great (Barry at the concierge service was terrific--he helped us plan a day in both Philadelphia and New York City). The location is a... more

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, they say its on "The Boardwalk" but its a $12 cab from the action i.e. 40/40 club, shopping outlets. The room looked clean but the hotel was just creepy. There was an old fashioned tub, tacky furniture, and signs warning you that you will be charged for any little thing you do.... more
